so, how is the drama, i am thinking of requesting it. How many episodes? so is Hitomi your fave now? what happen to the other j-idols?

Folks,
For those not familiar with 20th century American culture... the "Golden Age" of bowling was approximately 1950 - 1970.
Around 1950, automatic bowling pin placing machines were invented and widespread within a few years. Crowds were big and bowling alleys sprung up everywhere by the early 1960s.
That's why the music of Paul Anka and the graphics used in Golden Bowl reflect the late 1950s and early 1960s.

I didn't even when bowling was big....
I think they use to show bowling matches on TV....don't remember whne that was |
One of bowling's all-time greats, Earl Anthony, used to live in the SF Bay. His alley used to be called Amador Lanes back in the day:

During the 1990s to present, I have seen a number of places close. Though I'm not a bowler, I still am somewhat saddened to see them go. For example, Rock & Bowl on Haight Street in San Francisco near Golden Gate Park and the bowling alley at Japantown.

They still do, just not as often. I remember seeing Pete Weber and Walter Ray Williams.

I don't want to deviate from the bowling thread (I enjoy bowling ) but it's Majo no Jouken.
