LOL! I was playing along!
I like Glamourous Sky better... but Hitoiro is up there on my list.
PHEW You scared me there granny. xD
Well, most punk rock fans would say that Black Stones' Glamorous Sky is a little bit too pop to be called punk. Hehehe But the fact that HYDE help produce this song helps though
But Hitoiro, on the other hand, was produced by TAKURO from Glay (was it Glay? I think it is. I'm sure it's not Dir en Grey.) So... yeah. *shrugs* _________________

Actually...I feel Hitoiro was much more pop than Glamorous Sky. I mean, if you don't consider the ALT version which is more rockish.
But in Mika's THE END album, there were so much more better rock songs than the ones they played in the movies....I wish that they made it more punk since I can't really see Osaki Nana actually singing pop.
But I can't wait for NANA 2! I wish they waited for the manga to end...but I wonder where they stopped in the movie and if they'll even consider finishing it up?

I haven't listened to THE END yet. Can you please up some songs from it? OR the whole album is better ONEGAISHIMASU! Hehehe
Me neither. I can't wait for NANA2. I don't think they're going to make a part 3, since NANA 2 failed big time. _________________

@ Delilah
Hey, thanks for the link! You just saved my ass. I was about to dl a whopping 1.2 GB NANA ost Collection torrent. It includes EVERYTHING. All Music from the NANA movies and anime.
The first movie sold well (but the first Death Note movie still did better). But the second movie, after fans heard that so many casts were gonna be replaced, I guess the rating just flunked.

No problemo!
Aww...that sucks...but I was actually really sad that they replaced Aoi Miyazaki. I think she's a lot cuter than Yui. But changing Shin to Kanata Hongo was a perfect idea, ne? It's much closer age wise and he looks amazingly close to Shin! But the Ren....ooh boy. I have a problem with their castings of Ren since he IS my favorite Nana male character. He's just never...REN enough....
Oh yes, I remember hearing about the Death Note movie being really high in the box office...but I thought it only beat Nana in China? I really enjoyed it though...can't wait to watch the 2nd one. (Sorry for the offtopic-ness!)

I know. I hate Ichikawa Yui and her ears. XD Aoi-chan was perfect ne? I think Yui tried her best, but still.. Hachi is Hachi.
And yeah.. Hongo Kanata.. I wanna marry him xDDD And I think MatsuKen's casting as Okazaki Shin is one of his worst castings ever. Although he looked cute _________________

Oh yess...Kanata Hongo.. XD
But yeah, I loved Kenichi as L in Death Note! But goodness, he didn't do a good Shin at all...I didn't think he was cute at all! But hopefully Yui did a good job...even though she wasn't as cute as Aoi...

Hmmm..since the DVD will be out sometime this June (I think it's June 22 -- I forgot the exact date ) so hopefully before or on NANA day they will have released the fansubbed one. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and our hopes up! _________________

Betsu ni.
Now, to wake up the NANA thread!
For all you guys who didn't really like MatsuKen playing Okazaki Shin in the first NANA movie, here's his share of worries about playing Shin.

Nana the Live Action movie
As many of you already know, a Nana Live Action movie came out during the Fall of 2005. The movie covered around the first 5 volumes of the manga, and was relevantly good. In an article interview with Kenichi Matsuyama, Shin's actor, he said the following:
"I was chosen to play Shin only two weeks before the filming began. On top of that, Shin was established to be a 15-year-old and of small statute. I am 20 years old and have the height of 185cm, so it really made me wonder if everything was going to be alright, but what I was most worried about was the bass. I'm a complete amateur. However, my bass teacher and I got along pretty well, and I actually had so much fun practicing, that before I knew it, I became a proficient player. Because of this, I was able to memorize the music for the live concerts in two days, allowing me to be in peace of mind. Since then, I have been completely absorbed in playing the bass, and even through filming is over, I still continue playing it. In order to become even better, I still want to learn from my teacher.
In regards to the role of shin, Direct Ooya told me that "because he had the same eyes that few people in, like those of Ren. Shin was selected to be in Blast". But I was told that basically "Shin is mysterious". Therefore, at the shoot, I acted with a conscious of an enigmatic aura. When watching the completed movie, I had no idea what kind of guy he was (laughs). In that regard, I think it was a success. Of course, there were times when Shin didn't really get to say much, but I guess Shin expresses his feelings not through words, but with actions and music.
At the shoot, the live scenes left impressions, as expected. Especially with Maruyama, he said, "Since we are the drums and bass, if we fall there will be much trouble occurring", so I practiced a lot. As a result, I think the live scenes were well done. I first saw the finished movie on tape, and I rewinded it 3 times and watched just that part (laughs). BTW, at the live concert, Nobu and Shin play with the same movements, but that was not on purpose, it just happened to be by chance. We happened to be on the same wavelength, but that was a great wavelength.
Because I usually wear punk-like fashion, the custom had no sense of incongruity. Since I like Johnny Rotten from the punk band Sex Pistols, I was glad that I would wear that kind of clothes. Like the shirt and pants, the clothes were some that were adjusted to tightly fit my body. I like each and every accessory too. The rare aesthetic Vivienne lighter that Shin has is one of my favorites. Even the numerous body piercing isn't vague, but rather cool. Although I wouldn't be able to connect my ear and mouth with a chain (laughs).
I personally think that I have both Nana and Hachi sides to my personality. Like Nana, there a part of me that is lonely, where I tend to keep my problems within myself, rather than talking to others about it. But also, like Hachi, I can get over problems fairly rapidly, and have parts that are indifferent about some things. I felt sympathetic. Nana's charm is that the characters are individualistic, and everyone can relate to them in one way or another, thereby feeling sympathetic. That's why I think everyone who watches the movie will be fully satisfied."
(The quote was translated and scanlated by @iko from TAKOYAKIS in one of the manga volumes, and taken from TO FIND THAT STRENGTH -- an Okazaki Shinichi shrine.)
When I read this article, I was thrilled to find out that MatsuKen continued practicing the bass even after the movie, and that he likes Johnny Rotten too! I am a Pistols fan too, although I still prefer Sid over Johnny. Nice one, MatsuKen. _________________
