anyway... on episode 10...
i was watching upstairs in the penthouse so that i wouldnt cry that much... but i ended up crying wayy too much when

all the friends were running after him and he stopped and got out, and nobuta and akira were towards the back of the group and made the hand signs... and then they were always trailing the others and behind them but shuuji was just looking at them so much of the time despite everyone else yelling and screaming... and it was sooooo beautiful... and so sad, after all their friendship has seen, shuuji had to leave...
i was so surprised when akira was there, i did think it wasjust shuuji's vision! but then he was there.. AGAIN. and again! and still there! that was crazy, lol. very diff ending than i had anticipated... but so fun. except for nobuta all alone in that school on the roof... seeing her alone made me cry again. everytime i think of certain scenes from episode 10 i can feel the tears building up...

yeah, its a good song....but i think i had that 1 litre of tears song stuck in my head more...
the school kids singing that song was so cool, i like that version too.

Finally watched the last episode...it was very touching...I enjoyed this quirky show more than I would have thought, now that I'm looking back at it. Has some great timeless themes about friendship and loyalty...it's very sweet...makes you wax nostalgic about your younger days.

it was really touching when nobuta ran and got the job as the temple assistant and when she found shuji and akira wearing her red and white garments...she said i would do anything you tell me because that's how much i appreciate your friendship....that was so precious!!!! her character had an incredibly powerful, pure innocence....very touching.
Probably one of the best dramas on friendship I've seen. Great performances by all.

In the end, it looks like Shuji and Akira were the ones that needed producing. Though she's sad for the first few days, I think Nobuta will get over it. On the other hand, she realized that Shuji and Akira needed each other, so she said Akira should go with him. It's kind of poetic justice in a way. The girl who was so hated and lonely in the beginning is now strong enough to stand on her own and the boy who was so popular is now the odd man out and needs help. I loved the beginning, it was cute how everyone was in costume. I also think the writers could have taken the easy way out and built up either Shuji + Nobuta or Akira + Nobuta but they fortunately decided to go the route less taken and just leave everyone as friends.
