nothing to apologize about...most of her doramas aren't subbed except for concerto which you can find at d-addicts.com but i didnt' really like that one compared to some others...it was when she was going through all this dorama in her real life.....
i am surprised you haven't seen twilight samurai....it's 10 times better than the last samurai...and it's realistic.....not this fantasy about the white guy saving the world and coming in and swoopin' in on the asian chick.

Just wanna share her recent 'news' & comments about what I think the pressf bad treatment of her. The first was about her role in Engine. It was reported that Kimura was not happy with her, since shefs (it seems) taller than he is & so he avoided any promo pics together with her standing side by side, but from what I saw in a few mag covers, the pictures definitely show that he is taller than her, standing back to back & in all of them, he looks naturally happy too, to me. The critics were also quick to point out that the pairing was a bad move because the drama rating was dismal relative to other Kimuraf drama before this. But if one is to watch Engine, youfll see that Koyuki did her best in the role (she won best supporting actress award) even though she had to share her screen time with so many other co-stars (adorable kids too). So I donft think itfs fair to blame her for the erelativelyf low rating. Mind you, it was still on average above the 21% mark (which is pretty good compared to other dramafs rating averages). Ifd say the blame (if any) should go to the script writers.
At the 2006 Tokyo International Jewelry Show, she won the Best Jewelry Wearer award for 20-30 yrs old age group (another one of those silly awards). She wore a rather impressive gown with long slit which showed off her legs (which was commented by the media). Then during the red carpet walk ceremony at the 2005 Tokyo International Film Festival, she wore a rather revealing night gown, which together with her gown at the Tokyo International Jewelry show were cited by the tabloids as eprooff for her new aggressive looks & change in character (big headedness. attention seeking etc.) Gee, I just donft know how these press people think! I mean a dozen other actresses were doing the same things & yet they were spared the negative comments.
Next was about her recent breakup with Kenji. At that time, the press could not figure out the reasons so they had to quote her agency's press statements & they were quitef nice to her! But once they caught her going out with her new boyfriend, the knives were out again.
Next, it was reported that her perfect, blemish-free skin was due to her being supplied with a yearfs supply of SK II skin-care products, which she reportedly used before her promo pics for SK were taken. Geeze, this piece of story makes my skin crawl because her skin was already perfect before she even used SK II products. The press canft even give compliments where it is due, what a pity!
Next was her story, her transformation from gawky schoolgirl to beautiful actress. Some even had the cheek to say that shefs had plastic surgery but from pics that I've seen, I can only see that the main ecorrectivef thing she did to her appearance was wearing sensible braces (didnft we sometime ago did when we were young?)
I hope you can see my side of the argument that Koyuki has been on the receiving end of some very negative press lately. All these plus her talent agencyfs incompetence is doing her career an injustice. Hope Koyuki is seeing my comments in person. By the way, she has a large following in the US (from what I can see at IMDB forum) better than Zhang Zhi Yi or any other asian actresses. I hope this thread can generate more interest in her. BTW, I notice her old films such as 'Kairo' is doing a second round of screenings in the US. And should I suggest that every Koyuki fan should watch Laundry, then you'll know what I mean about her good acting. I can't post her pics here to support my arguments above but anyone interested can sent me a personal message thru my email. Happy reading.

Has koyuki ever been offered to pose in the buff. I mean absolutely nothing covered up including even the hairs showing if you know exactly what I mean. (sorry). Would she ever have the guts to do it? She's beautiful from head to toes. I am not saying this to be rude or obscene, but if she were offered the money or even just for art's sake would she ever do it like other few japanese actresses have done. To me art is really beautiful.

it's doubtful it would ever happen...if she did that she'd probably lose a lot of credibility and the commercial appeal that comes with it (i.e. commercial endorsements). the only famous japanese actress that did that and actually gained increased fame and fortune because of it was Rie Miyazawa....but that was in the mid-90s....the dynamic was a bit different back then...and she had already solidified her fame much more solidly than koyuki has.

a very sexy pic ok koyuki by a nuseto. i especially like pics where you can see her pretty feet. in regards to koyuki ever posing nude; and i mean completely nude from head to toe even completely exposing her pubic hair (hair nudes) has she ever given it much thought? believe me, again i;m not trying to be rude or obscene or anything! do you think she could ever be convinced by someone to actually do it.

whoa all these talk about her modeling in the buff is kinda off topic. She has much to lose if she takes that path towards fame and fortune. I hope she has more sense than that. Anyway, I heard she has a small role in the upcoming Genghis Khan film starring Takeshi Sorimachi. Is that true? Can someone confirm this?
