Haha, Sweet! I finished S.O.S in Three days, and Gokusen in about a week. I'm skeptical with season two. I heard from some it was good, and some said it was terrible.
hehe, ur watching speed sounds about right for us d-addicts
Gokusen 2, provided you haven't watched 1, isn't bad, but since you have, it's almost an exact replica of Gokusen with a different cast _________________

Eh... I dont know if I want to watch it then. I just can't see anyone replacing Uchi, and Shin. -Shakes head- When I get hooked on a series, I constantly download, constantly watch. I'm hoping to become a regular around here, haha.

I had no interest in watching season 2 of gokusen, but if you want to see how good it is or how bad it is, just watch the first couple eps.
Try watching it just for the story. _________________

hi
im looking for some recommendations. As for what i like i like romance, comedy (or both of them together), mystery dramas (really liked remote).
Don't mind sad or happy dramas.
Some that i really liked include:
Remote
Orange Days (main guy is so cute after watching this)
Hana Yori Dango
Gokusen (the first one)
Beautiful Days
Yanpapa/young father (This drama made me fall in love with Nagase Tomoya)
Some dramas I started to watch but stopped very soon (boring to me):
Tiger and dragon...i was confused and lost interest quite fast
Nobuta..survived half an episode
Last Christmas..i know some people like this one but I got bored after like 2 episodes
MotoKare...I like domoto but he wasn't able to make me stay with it
StandUp..did anyone think this drama is really stupid? or is it just me.. 1 episode and said goodbye to it
Interesting/Good but not the best:
Dragonzakura
Summer Snow (pretty good overall)
Engine
Another important point: im kind of an impatient person so lets say after 1-2 episodes and i find it so slow and draggy (nothing really happening) i won't be able to keep watching.
Kind of tired of watching those teach-student relationship dramas...at the moment. Also tired of watching people with aids, diseases at the moment..not that i don't like watching sad stories but id rather watch a sad love story instead (I did watch Kasisama cuz it had Kaneshiro T. in it).
I really want to watch crying out love at the center f the world drama, but i can't find it anywhere at the moment!!

I finished Teru Teru Ashita recently and I really liked it a lot. I'd say it was my favorite recent drama. Good script, good acting, good direction. At first I was going to pass because I saw it described as partly a horror story on DramaWiki. That's completely bogus, it's really better described as a modern fairy-tale, with human drama, fantasy, mystery, and some funny moments too. It's still being seeded at d-addicts at the moment.

Kind of funny how you mentioned both of these things.
You tired of watching people with aids or diseases, yet.....Sekai no Chuushin invovles that one point.
I guess you shouldn't watch 1 liter of Tears for now either.....I think it has that point too. Its suppose to be similar to Crying out Love.....i believe _________________

i think you might like Good Luck!!, Midnight Rain (this one's a really good mystery), Hero, Keizoku, Attention Please, Kyumei Byoto Ji 3
Stand Up did seem pretty pointless to me actually too and moto kare was certainly too slow - and definitely worse than summer snow. _________________

Like the subject says, I'm requesting recommendations for dramas that have that sort of ....... cute, naive and young appeal to it. Know what I mean? Like teenagers or even pre-teenagers in love/under crushes.
Thanks a BUNCH!!! This kind of stuff gets me all mushy and squeely T_T I'm a big sucker for innocence and inexperience and such. It's so adorable to me.
Sorry if this has been posted recently, I did sift through the recent posts and I used search for a bit but nothing came up that fit this request.

deeplove - I think you should give Nobuta Wo Produce a chance.
Watch atleast 1 or 2 episodes.. if you still don't like it then.. oh well.
I only saw half of the first episode before and stopped, then I gave it a try again just recently.. and I'm glad I finished it.
It's one of those dramas that gets better and better each episode.
Rohan - Since you're looking for a love story.. I recommend Sekai no Chuushin. I'm sure that series doesn't lack romance.

I'm deciding to watch either Densha Otoko or Good Luck first.
I heard Densha Otoko is freaken hilarious and an absolute must-see...
then again Shibasaki Kou is in Good Luck
What do you guys think? I'm looking for something along the lines of Attention Please in terms of humor, but also with a good emotional storyline. Is Good Luck funny?
