i think the short hair is rather becoming on her...as for her eyes...i've always joked that she has such darkly colored eyes...although this time i can actually see the contrast between the pupil and the iris......it's a really intense brown but due to the lighting the contrast is visible....looks pretty.

Yeah, it's really nice... I think her features work well with her unusual eyes.

that's a very salient and excellent point....i'm not as enthusiastic as some of our fellow board members when it comes to watching doramas often, that is to say i don't watch very many doramas back to back...because of the qualitative issue you mention. moreover, lately, i agree the quality of doramas seems to be lacking a bit, as compared to earlier years.

with regard to konishi manami, at least you can be assured, that her well established acting career, isn't subject to the vagaries of merely shoving her in a dorama to get her name out there as with many younger up-and-coming celebrities.

i guess one can only hope for the best and see where the dice land.
