arigatou!!
btw, i watched one of the live performance by L'arc en ciel.. the title was L'anniversary, i think... has anyone here watched it? it was superb!! i love the manly voice of Hyde.. sugoi desu ne... and i think his voice is getting more mature and become alot better especially in controlling the pitch..
just looking at the small window of my pc made me drool, i couldn't imagine if i was there listening and seeing them 'rocking' on stage.. i might be dropped dead, if u know what i mean.. _________________
Thank you guys for the warm welcome. I'm so glad I can talk to people about laruku. My friends make fun of me when I start talking about L'Arc - jrock is not their thing. But they do listen a bit, I guess mine is an obsession (as much as I don't want to admit it - but not to the extent of insanity, okay) so they can't keep up with me.
I like the people here bec. you guys don't entertain gossip and respect the band. That's what really made me join here, and I'm glad I did.
About Laruku's new song (seventh heaven), I can't say I liked it the first time I heard it. And, yeah, it's more of pop than rock. But it's okay.
I think L'Arc had never really thought too much about what would people think of them when they compose. They honestly compose what they feel -that's why you can feel the emotion of the song even if you don't understand much. ne, minna-san? (well, at least for me who don't understand much nihnggo)

I'm agree with you, totally!! Even if I couldn't understand Niji or I'm so happy lyrics back then, I was very touched while I was listening to Hyde or seeing them playing in a live. That's one of the things that made me a fan, the emotion I find in every song. Pop songs, or other artists songs are usually empty of meaning, I say "well, this is a good single but meh.." they don't make me cry, shout, dance or sing all the time. Even SEVENTH HEAVEN, what isn't my favorite style of music, has that power of connection, it is stuck in my head yet _________________

That explains the emotional wreck I've been encountering these past few months. Before, I considered myself as an Ice Queen but I really can't say the same now...
Honestly, I was getting worried with the lacks of emotions displayed but thanks to L'Arc~en~Ciel I've changed.
That also explains the reason why I don't like Gackt. His song is different from L'Arc~en~Ciel is many ways. Emotionless and too...ordinary.
I'm glad I found L'Arc~en~Ciel so in return...I won't regret starvation for L'Anniversary DVD!
steffibj...Thanks for the downloads. I took the Hyde and Ken (Pussuma) with english subs!~
My computer cannot read it...any idea how to overcome this because I'm desparate for Hyde...and Ken as well! _________________

After listening to Seventh Heaven a couple more times, I've started to love it! Especially the haido's long vibrato at the end, plus ken-chan's guitars...totally sugoi!!! It's so full of energy! _________________

I've always thought so too. That's one of the reasons why they're such a legendary band. I hope they stay that way forever.
By the way pawdough, do you have a friendster account? _________________

Hi there! Some of the pusuma segments are floating around youtube. You can try downloading those...the bad thing is they don't have subs. _________________

I only want to say it because it is a very common problem right now.

I've uploaded the pussuma show in two 4shared folders. You have to download all parts and enzip them with 7zip.

As it seems you solved the problem by yourself. XD
Enjoy the upload of the 5 lives Archives. I'm uploading it for the whole comunity who don't had a chance to buy it. This release shouldn't be missed.

This is the best part about when a new person joins the forum It always re-establishes everyones feelings about Laruku and why we love them so much!

I hardly think Gackt's songs are emotionless [i've cried listening to a few!] and I like his music but sometimes he is a little too show-off in concerts for my tastes.
I do prefer band like L'Arc~en~Ciel -- they all put their talent and instruments together and create one sound and one important message they always want to say to the audience!! And they always put on a great rock show no matter what. I can't wait for the summer tour to start, there will be lots of reports and photos in the magazines!!
I think I got sent to everyone who asked so far the pics of Hydeist Times. If I miss you just send me a nother message. My PM box has been very busy lately!
I'm currently listening to them . . . they're lovely
. . . soothing
Would you have their chords? I don't really know how to play a guitar - an amateur that only knows how to make a few strums (hehehe). But I've got a friend who's good, maybe he can help me out if I have the mp3 and the chords at least.

To continue this... I think you're right with that emotion thing. With most of their songs I simply cannot avoid singing along - no matter if I'm on the train or at home
And what I always loved about L'Arc are the songs in which melody is different from the theme of the lyrics. Like Fourth Avenue Cafe, or Feeling Fine. Theses songs put me into a good mood out of the meldoy, but if you think of the lyrics, it's something totally different, no?
About SH... I always find myself humming the chorus when I wake up - isn't it weird
Ah.. welcome to the new ones
@ steffibj: did you receive my pic? I sent it to the email on your profile. _________________
