i noticed that, shorter duration of j-drama....isn't the standard typically 45 min's minus the commericials...so probably an hr long per ep, normally.

I think the manga is currently only up to chapter 35, which translates to about 4 volumes. So far, the first 2 episodes followed the manga very closely, and each translated to about half a volume, so we're now at the end of vol 1. As it is, the writers will probably have to come up w/ original material after episode 8 anyway; let alone making each episode longer. Also, this is a 'late-night' drama and a lot of these dramas are more or less of the same length (Xenos, Cupid, etc). Fuji TV has said that this is a new time slot for them and so they'll be experimenting w/ the length, depending on the material.

well, i just finished the 2nd ep and wow! It's so addicting. I love the puzzles and stuff. Reminds me a little of Death Note. And if my senses are good, it looks like Mayuko is in the 3rd episode I hope she lasts for more eps. The next game definitely looks interesting!

guys. in episode 2. round 2 opf the game. and the BIG MANSION? yeah the MANSION. its the same mansion in Nodame Cantabile (if you watch it already..) the same mansion which Saeko (Contrabass girl) is living in.

it is. its just that. in Nodame the shots are in morning. but in Liar Game is in the afternoon so it will be a little darker.
