No problem. I had a few similar experience. I thought for a while that K.T. Tran was actually looking like Aya Ueto. For 75% of people here, if they have a girl as their avatar they're guys, if they have a boy they usually are girls. If they have both, that's a little bit more complicated, but then you can check where they post. If they are always in the Kat-tun thread: girls, if they are always in Morning Musume: guys. If they post all over the place, like myself, you can have a hard time to find out... _________________

I was thinking more like 90%...

I think this would be less of an issue if there was a gender indicator like at some of the other forums...

Yup. Although, from past experience, there are still lots of guys posing as girls. Maybe 75 was a bit low. I'll take your word for it, cause I don't visit all threads. _________________

Really? I wasn't aware of that. I thought they were franker with it. Unless it's a gaming or PC hardware forum. Then they probably hide it just to not get assaulted by the hundreds nerdy guys on the forum. _________________

IIRC, it means "if you can read this, your special", but a few people mentioned that they were lots of grammar errors and wrong kanji. hehe
