Probably because she cheapened herself by acting in those two cloned stinkers Gokusen 2/3...
Wrong...
Your logic is poor here and your bias has reached a fever pitch...
No fervid Yukie fan would delete or "unvote" Yukie because of Gokuksen 2/3...
her drop in the artiste rank is obviously caused by the rise of some other artiste...

There you go: No fervid fan.
Not all of her fans are fervid, therefore she could lose votes.
yukie nakama did somehow compromise in reprising gokusen twice.
however, you have to understand that japanese people like formulaic things: they have a tendency not to change something if it clicks. that's the main reason why they have some of the longest-running programs in the planet.
another thing: japanese actors are handled by agencies, and most of the time, they have no say in their agencies' decisions.
and it's true that no yukie fan would vote her down just for doing the same thing over and over again. i also don't like the idea of gokusen for the second or third time; but we have to understand why it was made-it's japanese, and primarily aimed for the japanese audience.
please remember that her score here in jdorama doesn't affect her popularity elsewhere.
so my main point is: we're not japanese. _________________
and to people who said yukie was too old to be in gokusen 3....she's decently aged allright? she was way too young in gokusen 1....for a teacher, it doesn't matter her age, most of my teachers are like 50. she still looks young and thats all that matters
and as for selling herself to gokusen 2/3??!!! im sure you could ask all of the devoted gokusen fans whether they thought she sold herself. it's not her fault that the storylines weren't up to your standards...she just acts them.

If one were to rank actresses by their choice of new original roles,
Yukie Nakama would rate pretty low. But she would come in pretty
high for how well she does with the roles she has chosen.
For me most of the plots in the Trick series were fairly lame but I
was always entertained by her and Hiroshi Abe. I also thought there wasn't
a nickel's worth of difference between any of the Gokusen (1/2/3) episodes
but Yukie's performance, especially the humorous scenes, were enough
to keep me watching. (Although, if they do another one, PLEASE come up
with something new.)
does anybody know what brand yankumi's classic red jersey is? i can't seem to find one online (besides the official one on ntv)
i think the jersey in the 1st/2nd seasons is a locally (japan)-made jersey. it's a common PE uniform there. the 3rd season jersey is from Adidas, a sponsor (take note of the 3 stripes, also indicating the season. they never realized this earlier since in the 1st season, the jersey has 2 stripes, which is the standard in japan).
that red jersey (especially the jacket) is quite common here in the philippines, with several variations, including one with a hood, 1-3 stripes, etc. _________________
i've been searching for yukie nakama stuff online, and this weird thing came up:
what's weird is, this is a telephone card (the hot collection in the 80s-90s), and the katakana on the top says 'playboy'!

BAD NEWS:
From TOKYOGRAPH:
For the past three years, Yukie Nakama has been at the top of Video Research Ltd.'s CM rankings, which are based on the amount of commercial airtime for each celebrity. Now, according to the company's data for the first half of 2008, she has fallen far behind, and a male face has risen to the top.
In the Kanto region, Hiroshi Tamaki has jumped from #10 a year ago to #1, with more than 47 hours of airtime in over 8,000 commercials. Aya Ueto, who previously ranked 8th, is now #2 at more than 36 hours with almost as many commercials. Yu Aoi and Ryoko Yonekura were next on the list, with Nakama placing 5th.
Tamaki also led in the Kansai region with close to 36 hours of commercial time, up from #34 last year. Ueto ranked #2 there as well, less than an hour behind Tamaki. Kosuke Toyohara and Maki Ota tied at #3, while Masami Nagasawa came in 5th.
In Nagoya, Ueto was able to keep her #1 seat from last year, but Tamaki moved up from #39 to #2. The two were followed by Nagasawa, Koyuki, Toyohara, and Ota.

Yukie-chan wins the Best Actress award for Gokusen 3....
She's a fine actress, but Gokusen 3????? It's the same role as the previous two Gokusen dramas...
Something's very fishy in Japan.... And it ain't the sushi.
An acting award is (or should be) for acting, not scriptwriting. The fact that
the story was old and worn out should not be a factor. If the performance is
good that is all that should matter. Let's face it, the only reason
to watch Gokusen 3 is for Yukie's acting. (At least that's the only reason
I watched it.)
