A funny thing, tho, as I was looking for pics of Tokiwa, I found that she, too was an AV actress before hitting it big in the more mainstream projects. I guess that was back in her "starvin' artist" days! :) I hope this would be suffice, I do have to applaud her work in "Beautiful Life", but as far as looks, she's not my type.
Oh, maybe that's what it was, because I thought is that her in the buck? And immediately I thought: AV. So it was just a nude scene, it was nothing then. Thx for setting me straight, neef!

hello ! ;) does anybody know the title of the drama series where takako has a mute boyfriend? and every ending credits show both of them naked in some kind of pool. if you please tell me.
Waah! A true beauty and a skillful actress. She's the type of a "I love you, marry me"- woman out there.
Hard to find any decent scans on her on the internet :(

- Le Bel Homme (Jem & Kiku) is available at Jem's bittorrent site
- Refrain/Meguri Ai (Kiku) is avaiilable in the major jdrama channels of irc.
On November 14, 2007 (noon, Japan time) Takako Tokiwa will appear on YAHOO LIVE TALK! with Kou Shibasaki, Erika Sawajiri , Keiko Kitagawa and Miki Nakatani to promote the newest Kanebo line COFFRET D'OR!
Just finished watching this...amazing...all that star power on one stage...Keiko was cute and charming and held her own ...Sawajiri was all sweetness and smiles, the total opposite from her meltdown...Kou Shibasaki, Takako Tokiwa, and Miki Nakatani looked truly beautiful...it was a treat seeing them all...

I didn't know there was a thread for Tokiwa Takako.
She was the first jdrama queen as far as I know, but it seems that she is nowhere near as popular as Matsushima Nanako. I really like her smile and acting, so radiant and natural with the whole range of emotion. She is now my favourite Japanese actress, though a lot of her drama can be difficult to watch. I finally found Mahiru no Tsuki recently at a great price (VCD but with chinese subs), planning to watch it soon.
Thanks for sharing the video, runpup. The link is dead already for some reason after only 4 days.
