I grew really excited when I first started watching this because I recognized most of the "child" actors. Overall, the show is interesting with humor and mystery mixed in very well. The characters were very likeable, especially "Ryuu." Each case was extremely fascinating and not one of those crappy detective shows where the answers are right in front of the characters while they bumble around, obliviously ignoring the obvious. The drama was fun and addicting to watch. A plus was watching for "budding talent." |

Very nice to watch as a stand alone feature, as the actors are good, and stories are reasonably good as well. However, if you have read the manga and/or seen the anime, you will make comparisons and you will be a little let down. |

Great cast, and although the concept isn't too original, I thought this show did fairly well. The "finale" episode was not up to par at all with the rest of the series though, and one thing that kept nagging me was that it seemed like the Q Class were never really in a pinch. I mean, they're just kids for crying out loud (except for Kinta); there should have been a bit more conflict and troubles. In comparison to other tantei dramas, I think that's where this one falls flat; they had characters that were hardly Mary/Marty Sues, but the cases were all solved way too neatly, making that not so apparent. |

WONDERFUL! This drama is pick of the crop! I love the mysteries even if they were easy to solve, but I really enjoy the interaction and the innosence of the schow! Everything is well put together. |

I really like this series! I'm planning to buy it when I returned back to the states since at the moment, I'm in Japan. Anwyays, it's totally awesome! I really like the thinking and the cases that are thrown at to the four of them. Definitely worth to watch! Espcially, Kyuu, Meg and Ryuu are so cute together! |

It's a fun mystery drama about a group of kids who each have their own special abilities that they can use to solve crimes. Because of their abilities, they are recruited into a young detective agency called Tantei Gakuen Q hence the name of the show. (The special that airs before this series shows the process of recruiting) It's a must watch if you plan on watching this series.
Acting is so-so and the plot for this show is episodic linked only by this mysterious character who seems to be behind everything using some kind of mind control. There are a lot of better mystery dramas aside from this one, but this one is lighthearted and it's a good way to pass the time. |

8.5! It was refreshing to watch young potential actors/actresses, especially Yamada Ryousuke and Shida Mirai. I am definitely too old to be fantasizing over Yamada, but he is the cutest boy ever. I see a lot of potential in him. Mystery was never my thing, but it was definitely enjoyable. Great acting, great plot. |

I really like the last episode and the episode before the last. It's really an enjoyable drama especially after you have solved the case and found out how they did it. One thing i didn't like was the main actor. When he was younger and took on minor roles,he did a job but in this drama,his acting really looked fake and as if he's an amateur in acting. Sigh....i thought he would have done a better job though. Ryousuke on the other hand did an excellent job. No doubt although he's a young actor,he can act really well. I wouldn't be surprised if one day,he becomes as famous as his senpais (matsujun,yamapi..). |

I've been watching this drama all over again and I'm never fed up watching it! The plot is good (despite the fact some people said that it's not as good as the anime), interesting and thrilling sometimes, all the characters are really cute too.
And I love how Yamada Ryosuke and Shida Mirai played their roles in this drama, so cute! Kaname Jun really suits being a big brother of the detective group! |

So-So... although some episodes were really nice (with a superb plot and stuff) some was just rubbish. The same thing goes for the casting some young actors r really good but some sux bad. Speaking of wich i dunno 'bout the manga or the anime but watching a dorama with some brats looking for serial murders and doing all those detective stuff is really annoying. "Tantei Gakuen Q" is those doramas that r good if u dont have anything better to do (or watch...) |
