Boku dake no Madonna [僕だけのマドンナ]
Cute story, although I haven't finished watching it the story and its characters are great to watch and I'm getting overly anxious wating for the next episode.
Densha Otoko [電車男]
Its some painfully corny yet so addicting to watch. Its really a simple story and you wonder why NOBODY did it before! This show has to been seen and appreciated for its story and the little things us OTAKUs notice throughout the show that it pulls.
GTO [麻辣教師]
My first DORAMA and I loved it. Don't expect the manga but its a great adaptation of it. Sorimachi is an excellent and eccentric Onizuka...I love BOTH Manga and Dorama Onizukas! It doesn't just stop with the series, watch the movie!!
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]
Cute story, it could've been finished off better, hmm--could it be: they're going to extend it!?
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙]
HEARTWRENCHING-TEARJEARKING-FEEL SO GOOD AND BAD DORAMA. I loved this dorama and as a guy...I found myself wiping the corner of my eyes in some episodes and more amongst the closing one... WHAT A SAD THEME SONG...but I love it!
Mukodono 2003 [ムコ殿2003]
The first four episodes (the only ones subbed at the moment) hooked me! I hadn't watched the first Muko but I went out of my way to find it! I have to say...I LOVE THEM BOTH! MK2003, although its not done being subbed, has great potential!
Orange Days [オレンジデイズ]
As from my comment page: Loved it! EVERY EPISODE! This DORAMA has more of a college theme to it so I felt really comfortable watching it and feeling the same college pressures and college environment that they were going through! The characters are REALLY well done and you can't help but fall in love with Sae's eccentricities. This DORAMA has also made me a huge fan of Satoshi Tsumabuki, what a great actor!
Star no Koi [スタアの恋]
Loveable characters! Kusanagi is a great actor and its funny just how dumb-downed he looks. ALSO: KYOKO IS IN HERE! GOHD I LOVE HER! I didn't know it was her when I first saw the series but the thought of me knowing it was someone I've seen kept coming to mind. GOHD she's HAWT!!
Summer snow
As from my comments: GREAT...until the end. I loved this DORAMA...every episode of it until Eleven....GOHD! I guess you have to watch it believe...

Hasegawa Kyoko [長谷川京子]
She's so CUTE AND HOT at the same time. I love her smile and her acting in Boku Dake and Sutaa are just right! She's got a great acting atmosphere and her characters are loveable. I LOVE HER!
Inoue Mao [井上真央]
Yuck that's an ugly picture of her here on JDORAMA! Get rid of it! She's uber cute and...man...I might be lolicon because of her! NOOO! Damn her!! Anyways, shes pretty good for her first time as a lead.
Ito Atsushi [伊藤淳史]
This guy is so dorky in Densha but he's great in Yoshitsune. It goes to show his versatility as an actor. This guy gets one of my votes!
Itoh Misaki [伊東美咲]
She's really a soft spoken character in Densha and her innocent demeanor is really cute. Her acting is great but sometimes its a little over when she's acting with co-star male Otaku lead. Nonetheless she's got great eyes!
Konishi Manami [小西真奈美]
Uber cute and I like her cute ears! She's nice and tall and her performance is just as good. She doesn't really play any strong parts but her supporting roles are great.
Kusanagi Tsuyoshi [草?剛]
He's really geeky looking but a great actor! Loved his character in Sutaa and Koi Ni. I've not heard and SMAP before but he's got a 'stong' voice which is noticible now that I think of it.
Shibasaki Kou [柴咲コウ]
Great actress AND singer! She's got a face that makes you think twice about her, I get the 'cute but deadly' feeling when I look at her. She's great in Orange and, wow, the dedication!
Sorimachi Takashi [反町隆史]
Great ONIZUKA! Great adaptation and acting of the live-action Onizuka. Sorimachi pulls it off and he's unforgettable.
Tsumabuki Satoshi [妻夫木聡]
As a straight-Heterosexual-I like the female sex- male...even I think he's cute. Gohd that sounds so gay. Anyways, he's got strong acting skills and in Orange days and Slow Dance he's a likeable character. He's got a strong aura and well, he's just very likeable...not in a gay sense...no offense to gays.

Attention Please [アテンションン プリース]
Rating: 7/10
So far it's cute...and cute is pretty much what I think it'll stay it. I really do think [Aya] could've done so much better in this role. Although her character is supposed to be blunt and brash about most things I feel that her character was certainly lacking and the attitude her character presents is just something to distract myself from who the character is. I also think that there are too many 'convenient' endings to some/ most of the episodes...
Boku dake no Madonna [僕だけのマドンナ]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
The story is loveable and I love Kyoko, she's got a great smile! Besides that...it felt really awkard at first. After digesting a couple of episodes you can sort of attempt to forget about her nonchalantly climbing through his window for the sake of the story. I fear that without that catalyst the rest of the story really doesn't have anything else worth watching...besides Kyoko's beautiful face.
Densha Otoko [電車男]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Its so painfully cheesy and I loved every minute of it! Its an OTAKU's dream come true and it unbearably addicting watching what he'll do next. This is a great light-comedy romance and it shows!
Good Luck !! [グッドラック!!]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
I'm following this DORAMA because former SAE actor KOU SHIBASAKI is in it and well....EXCELLENT! Who knew that a DORAMA about airlines could be so good!? I especially liked the interaction between the two and the story/ character development. This is a fantastic example of one of those extreme ended doramas that don't particulary have an interesting premise (...c'mon now...airlines?!) could've been so great!
GTO [麻辣教師]
Rating: 9/10
My first DORAMA and how I loved it. I felt awkward watching it but three episodes in I forgot all about it and my DORAMA life started here. Great adaptation from its manga roots and it's character development is just as great. If you read the manga don't expect it to follow it hand in hand, watch it for its merits and its actors and you'll love it!
H2~Kimi to itahibi [2〜君といた日々]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Haven't watched it yet, its there, I'll get to it! EDIT: May 17th. FINALLY! I finally saw the whole show and...it was great! It was a good dorama...although I've heard the Manga was better, I didn't really notice anything bad about it. It had solid teen leads and well,...interesting. The Love Story could've been tweaked a little better though...
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
It was moderately okay. I guess the more you watch other doramas you begin to get picky in what you want to watch...I guess I this about time I go back and re-write some older comments. But anyhoot, it was a pleasure to watch, nothing to great about it and nothing that says: "You have to watch it," its...'alright.'
Hana Yori Dango Season 2 [花より男子]
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
...yep, I watched it....the first was more enjoyable than this one. HYD2 felt too rushed, plot lines felt like they were smashed together and some characters just didn't work. Just because you have a cute face doesn't neccessarily mean its going to work out. I think it had a lot going for it but somewhere along the lines...like...episode two, it lost its charm and well...for completeness-sake I had to watch it. (Just like I had to watch Star Wars Ep.II and III....)
Hotman [ホットマン]

Still downloading, Sorimachi is a great actor.
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
HEART WRENCHING and it hurts so good. Its done even better then some of my Korean Doramas and man...those Koreans can pull some great ones. This story is tear-jerking and has some better character development then most of the doramas out there. Its especially heart-warming and seeing how it is based off a true story I can only express some great appreciation to the portrayal of such.
Ima Ai ni Yukimasu [いま会いにゆきます]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
The show's pacing is pretty slow, but the last parts of it really begin to shine! The family is wonderful, I had my doubts with newcomer Mimura with a diverse actor such as Narimiya Hiroki, but they pulled it off and some parts you just want to keep egging them on!! Its a great slow story, if you've the patience, but it really shines as it closes, everything is drawn into the end and ends wonderfully!! Some parts are sad though....but its all good!
Kamisama mou sukoshi dake [神様、もう少しだけ]

Haven't watched it yet...however, I DO have the whole series. As a fan of Samanosuke I MUST watch it...sooner or later!
Koi ga shitai Koi ga shitai Koi ga shitai [恋がしたい恋がしたい]
Rating: 4/10 (Watched)
Its starts off really strong...then it just becomes mediocre towards the middle-end. Its got some strong acting...the story however, its wasn't working too great afterawhile. Some parts of the story were just too frustrating to watch because of the lack of character bonding-development; some parts just seemed too rushed.
Koi ni Ochitara ~Boku no Seikou no Himitsu~ [恋におちたら〜僕の成功の秘密〜]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
My second Kusanagi Tsuyoshi series and it was just as enjoyable! The story kind of has it weak parts but it manages to pull out ahead towards the end. Some parts of the story could've been developed better and some characters could've used my fleshing out. Other then that the DORAMA was alright.
Long vacation [ロングバケーション]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
The second dorama I've ever seen following the wake of GTO. Its a great love story and the music is great. Some parts were predictable but its those good predictable parts! I love her (the main actress) character, she's loveable and has a great atmosphere around her. What's his face, Sena, seems SOooOo gloomy all the time.
Love Revolution [ラブレボリューション]
Rating: 8/10
Haven't watched all of it yet, its pretty intersting.
Lunch no Joou [ランチの女王]
Rating: 9/10
Great first episode! As a fan of Satoshi, Misaki, and Shinichi: this show really kicks off strong with a great cast. Shinichi has such a great range! I saw 'Good Luck' before this as well as 'Koi Ni Ochitara' and man...he's good. This comedy aspect of him is great!!
Mukodono 2003 [ムコ殿2003]
Rating: 8/10
Still DL'ing. Watched the first episode, its great! I don't know what the bad vibes about this one is all about; haven't seen the first Mukodono but this one is great. EDIT: Saw MK2001, it was great, but this is just a good! (4/20/06)
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Excellent! I loved it. Nagase is great in this dorama, I wish there were more...WAIT! There is! Muko2003! Actually, I watched 2003 first then after watching what was subbed ATM, 4 episodes, I HAD to watch the first one! AND I LOVE THEM BOTH!!
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース]
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
Well...it's an okay dorama. I felt some parts jumped around a bit and also, it just felt too "loose." Nothing really stood out but nothing really was great either. The Dorama is quick though, but don't expect anything too intense, this is a light wieght but is somewhat enjoyable...somewhat. Its another one of those high school-themed doramas...and frankly...I'm getting tired of them.
Orange Days [オレンジデイズ]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Loved it!
Slow Dance [スローダンス]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
I watched this because Satoshi was in it and seeing his previous work in Orange Days I thought this would be just as good. And well, for the most part it is! I love their characters and they're so 'LIVELY'! However...I did think she was just a bit...*uhm....old. No offense. On tangent: the soundtrack is unbelieveably good. I down--acquired a copy of it and its one of the better soundtracks out there.
Star no Koi [スタアの恋]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
My first Kusanagi DORAMA and its cute. I find the storyline to be extremely interesting but its execution/ some acting by 'some' actors were certainly lacking. I felt that it could've rocked on hard but...the tension just faded and it soon because pretty predictable...anyways, yay for Kyoko.
Summer snow
Rating: 8/10
GREAT...until the end. I loved this DORAMA...every episode of it until Eleven....GOHD! I guess you have to watch it believe...
Tiger & Dragon [タイガー&ドラゴン]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Extremely well done dorama. I loved Nagase in Muko '01 and '03 and I wanted to see how he did in this. He's great! I can't help but love Misaki...she was SOOOOooOo adorable in Densha, and Lunch no..., I had to watch this. The pacing is quick but that's what makes the show great!!
Wonderful Life [ワンダフルライフ]
Rating: 9/10
Sorimachi and KYOKO HASEGAWA, GOHD, my two favorite J-Actors! I thought I'd see an over-raunchy spit out of GTO again, but he does a fairly good job being the coach...although I do feel the plot sort of regurgitating some GTO themes into the show...not that GTO was a bad thing. I LOVED GTO!!
Yoshitsune [義経]
Rating: 8/10
Still watching it, so far its decent. I read a bit about Yoshitsune in my Japanese class and as a history major it certainly is an interesting piece of Japanese history that I like looking into.
