1. Funny! [Rating: 7/10]
This was actually the first Japanese drama i watched, a long time ago. The action and dialogue is very stylized, and indeed seems to be taken straight from a comic. Kintaro's personality is like that of a samurai, which is at once admirable and unbelievable, and Takahashi's voice for this part is very funny. All the women love him for his samurai spirit, but he remains faithful to his deceased wife, putting all his energy into the company. The plot and subplots are all fairly innocuous and simplistic, and the fight scenes look really fake, but on the other hand, it's a great demonstration of Japanese values, and taken with the energetic theme song, tells the viewer to Ganbatte! I would recommend this one to younger viewers.

2. Good! [Rating: 8/10]
I liked this drama! Katsunori Takashi as Yajima Kintaro, an ex biker gang leader and now works at a construction company. at the beginning he only sharpened pencils, as the story progresses he'll get more important and responsibles tasks to be achieved.
Wouldn't be nice to be Kintaro himself, women are chasing all over him=D He sure is a good fighter, gettin involved in fights a lot!
Kintaro's son is so cute! Just want to hug him tight!
Can't wait to see season 2 and 3!

Heh a pretty coo series. I enjoyed it a bit. It has it moments but mostly it deals with Kintaro trying to complete a task before a certain amount of time.

Charming rags to riches story. With a strong supporting cast, Takahashi Katsunori is endearing as Kin-chan!

This is the worst! It's soooo over the top, but that's what makes it so appealing.

This is the worst! It's soooo over the top, but that's what makes it appealing and so funny. I'd love to be a salaryman like Kintaro.
