Great drama with a touching story and a great cast. Story revolved around Katsuo taking in four kids after their house burned down. Majority of the drama is about Katsuo forming a bond with the kids and facing many issues. Most issues gets solved perfectly like the issue with Momo, played by Aya Ueto, which creates a sort of predictable outcome. The drama is emotional and serious, but still enjoyable and humorous at times. |

This drama is a bit more on the serious note compared to the dramas I tend to like but it was extremely good. The cast is great and the acting was pretty good. I really enjoy the advice given by Katsuo throughout the episodes. ^___^
And American Football in Japan reminds me of my study abroad at Daito Bunka University so much, ahahaha.

Solid drama and enjoyable but was expecting it to be a bit better, cast was all good but the storylines were a bit weak, too many problems, which were many, ended up being solved too quickly and perfectly, after a while knowing how it'd end up took away any kind of drama buildup which could have happened but rarely did. |

a drama of the likes of 'Under One Roof'. good family drama to watch, but not re-watchable, i guess. it is really touching, and it almost brought me to tears (i admit i'm not easily touched by dramas). so i'll give it credits for tat. |

ueto aya was very young here. she was ok. it was again weird to see her with ninomiya and eguchi yosuke too. this show is quite old. i wasnt even aware of it when it aired. i just watched it during the summer as well. |

Eguchi plays basically the same character he did in "Hitotsu Yane" only even more over the top and this time he's not related to the kids. Uchida never looked better. |
