This drama got me hooked at first sight. The story manages to avoid clichés, and I love the acting of Yamaguchi and her engurisu sentences (" Yeah ! Comu On ! Letsu Go ! " :D ). I also liked Inamori Izumi, so cute and fun that I put her picture on my wall ! Andof course, Kimura Takuya is great.

This is one of the best Jap drama I have ever watch and I dare to say that its worth watching over and over again. Just like one of the dialogue in the drama mentioned: "If there are any upset in one's life, just treat it as a Long Vacation from God". For anyone who havent watch it, go for it. This drama does withstand the test of time.

Great dorama, amazing chemistry between Yamaguchi Tomoko and Takuya, and it is an added bonus that yutaka is in it. Highly recommended.

watched it very long time ago, I remember I enjoyed watching it very much, like it, like the ending too. Yutaka's eyes captured me, it was the first time I started to notice him although I saw him in other dramas.

This Drama and Love generation I honestly think are the to best Jdorama's ever made. Gotta see this one Tomoko and Matsu are both so beautiful. Takuya is just insanely popular and is a great actor and not to mention Yukata. He is just the man.

This drama needs no introduction. Great cast, great story. Great music. A+++. Whenever I hear the theme song "La La Love Song", I always get a smile on my face. It loses one point for Matsu Takako, who I hated so much in this drama that I never want to watch anything with her in it again!

As expected...many reviews on this one. I'll put in my 2 cents as well: well written and well acted. Inamori's antics and acting will crack you up. Really like Okusawa in this one...

To paraphrase a fellow JDorama.com colleague I would say "this is the dorama that sets the standard for all other doramas. The music, storyline, and actors all seemed to fit in harmony. Towards the end I felt sad; but not because of the storyline. I felt sad because everything was resolved and the dorama was over. It has that kind of effect on people; Like a good RPG

While picking up this drama I was humming "KimuTaku/Matsu", but that's not what this one's about. In fact, I really really really dislike Matsu's character. Yutaka made a good playboy in this one cuz well, he looks like one. I did enjoy this drama. But one thing that I disliked was the hype. Thank you friends.

the beginning might put u to sleep..but hang on!
the interesting part is just about to come!

I loved the music! So groory and catchy! "Here we go again" is my fave song in the series! Just can't get enough of the song, been listenin to it over and over! The first rap-song I've really liked!
Loved Inamori Izumi part's as Momoko, a funny/weird person who gives weird advices to Tomoko Yamaguchi (Minami) but useful and unique!
overhyped series by others but worht watchin!

What can I say? It's one of my favorite dramas. Kimura Takuya, Yamaguchi Tomoko, Takenouchi Yutaka, Matsu Takako, and Ryo. A legendary cast in their early careers as actors and actresses. Great drama and great classic love story. If you have not seen this, you should see it right now!!!! Don't miss out.

Not the best I have ever watched. But I have just had a long vocation. So it's a moving drama for me.
It's like the piano that can express the pianoist's emotion. This drama will also echo in the heart of those who have experienced a long vocation.

One of my favorites. The ending was no surprises! Typical Kimura type character and Yamaguchi's character could drive people crazy!! Her character will stay with you for a while. The sound track is simply great and I have the 3 CD version in my collection. Good romantic plot, amazing cast and good music, just cannot beat this combination. they don't make dorama like this anymore!

It's really great to watch, especially for those who like light love story. The characters are funny, and Takuya gave a very good performace.
