only 11 episodes.. it was too short T.T pity Sena and Minami made it too late... we could see only few scenes in which they're happy together. I once was quite a great fan of Matsu Takako but actually prefered Yamaguchi Tomoko in this dorama. Tomoko is great!!! plan to watch 'undo'... an Iwai Shunji movie she starred in. Kimura Takuya looked good with Matsu Takako or with Fukatsu Eri in later doramas, but I prefer him with Yamaguchi Tomoko...

This is my second favourite..just after Beautiful Life..this drama has the nicest OST.. and Takuya Kimura's acting is really good...this show has a very out standing love story.. ^^ this show is highly recommended to everyone.. espescially to Takuya Kimura's fanss

yeaH. this drama is such a cLassic fOr all j drama-lOvers... tHough it's 8 years agO, please dO catch it if you have never watched it befOre! you wOn't regret...nice pLot...niCe actOrs and actresses...heart-feLt Love...very sOothing music and soundtracKs...Just Love it! this shOw reaLLy had a great impact on mY life...i m sO addicted to takuya since then! =P

I wasn't quite keen on watching this series but am really glad I finished it. The storyline is pretty straightforward but the character development of Sena and Minami is flawless. The acting is superb all round too, especially Takuya Kimura and Tomoko Yamaguchi. I thought they were perfectly casted for their roles. This is one of the best dramas I've watched (Beautiful Life is still no.1, IMO). There isn't much action (unlike Seikei Bijin where there's always something interesting going on). This series mainly revolves around the relationship of the 6 main characters. Can get quite draggy at times (which is why I didn't give a 10) but overall, still a good watch.
Great soundtrack too! I wanna download all the songs!

yamaguchi tomoko was simply brilliant. she showed alot of range and gave easily the best female performance i have ever seen. she can be cute/perky, angry, depressed, kind/gentle, or sexy. very versatile
inamori izumi was great as the goofy best friend. her facial expressions cracks me up everytime, look forward to seeing more of her in other shows

The first JDorama I saw is The Tokyo Love Story ... but The Long Vacation was the first JDorma which made me get hooked on JDorama ... very much in love with Takuya Kimura and Tomoko Yamaguchi either personally or when portraying their characters as Senna Hidetoshi and Minami Hayama ...

Although KT's character of Shuji pisses me off sometimes with his lack of actions in the beginning-In the end he finally pulls through and expresses himself which I found very satisfying.

My first contact with J-dorama and it got me hooked. It's a bit old but still one of the best. I liked the pianotheme and enjoyed every episode. It's romantic, funny and has a powerful ending. The acting is great all over. Of all the dorama I've watched so far, I rate this one as no 3.

I think this show is overrated. I did not really see the love connection between the two. The story line is okay but the music for this show is wonderfully done.

overall the dorama was good the cast, story, soundtrack etc..... but the ending was a big dissapointment. i'm expecting a great ending that can fit in this great dorama.

This is one of the first doramas that I have ever seen and after watching 100 doramas it is still one of my top favourites. Takuya is so adorable in this one, and the chemistry between the two leads is amazing. You have to watch this if you never seen it yet.

Great Story::
The story is all about life, love, and relationships. All of the lives were intertwined with each other which makes for interesting interactions between the characteres... the love match-ups kept me guessing until the very end.
Great Acting:
Yamaguchi (Minami) steals this show. Her acting was very believable, real and natural.
Kimura (Senna) fits the role of the loner pianist perfectly.
The hidden "gems" in this show were::
Inamori (Momoko) was hilarious!!! She has the best facial expressions!!
Hirosue Ryoko, although a small part, was such a stand out that I ended up watching another of her dramas (Summer Snow) and now I'm a fan :)
In Summary:
A great show you can watch over and over... for the laughs and the beautiful faces. My favorite jdorama!!!

Great acting by Takuya and Tomoko, great soundtrack and music background. Although Minami isn't cute enough but i like this type of girl, cheerfull and easy going.
