Interesting topic, acting was sometimes a bit off, Engrish..., at some points I wasn't sure whether the spectator was supposed to take the whole thing serious (the character Joy was hilarious actually. I mean, the man ironed his money!)...
By the way, it's not set in Thailand but in a fictional Southeast Asian state (forgot the name). The book also isn't set in Thailand but Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I think it was filmed in Thailand though. |
