Synopsis

�gDEATH NOTE�h is a wildly popular comic serialized between 2003 and 2006 that currently boasts over 30 million copies printed in Japan.
Write anybody�fs name on the death god notebook known as �gDEATH NOTE�h and they will die. Light Yagami uses this notebook to kill off all the criminals to create a world without bad people. Join him and L, a world-renowned detective who is shrouded in mystery, as they use their brilliant minds to engage in a cat-and-mouse game.
The animation remake of the series has been broadcast and/or streamed in over 150 countries and regions and remains highly popular. In addition, two live-action movies and a musical have been produced, making it a truly multi-platform content. Now, this mega-hit comes back as a much-awaited drama series!

1.	Comments by EstherM [Rating: 6/10] I'm not sure why I am watching this - I read the manga, watched the anime and the live action movies so I should be done with this universe. But it has been 10 years since I saw the movies (I am watching this in 2018), that's maybe why I felt compelled to watch it. The series moves away from the source material in that it changes Light's personality in the beginning and I don't think it was necessary. The CGI is not great, especially for Rem. I personally didn't mind the new actors and found it entertaining enough but, and this doesn't come as a surprise, this series doesn't really reinvent anything.
