1. Hot Spring Drama [Rating: 7/10]
Onsen e Ikou or Women of the Onsen is a great drama that takes place at a Hot Spring Inn. The story literally revolves around the maids and their troubles as well as their interaction with their guests. At first glance this drama would seem extremely boring, but the drama is filled with comedy and the incidents that happen at this Onsen won't usually happen anywhere else. If you are looking for a light hearted drama with a little comedy and romance invovled, this is the drama for you!

2. Onne he Yoku (Wommen of the onsen) [Rating: 8/10]
Great show that really develops towards the end of each season/series range.

To bad the epsiodes are only reduced to half hour episodes on TV, however theire really interesting.

Especially interesting since they very often touch on the more empirical issues in Japanese business society as well as interpersonal relational matters.

Great humor though, and of course, as always where Kato Takakao is present, someone really beuatyful to brighten ones day/evening.

One of the cutest, funniest, sometimes slapstick comedy series I have watched. It's a bit silly but it has a similar draw to it for the same reason you might watch 3's company or something. But after the 2nd, 3rd seasons I started to lose interest. Takako is definitely a show stealer with her funny but cute role.

Women of the Onsen g֍sh was the first Japanese Drama I had watched and has now gotten me completely hooked on Japanese Dramas. Women of the Onsen is a light hearted comedy/romance which makes you laugh each episode. This was a great drama to start off on!

Love this series! Very funny! The comedy is slapstick style. I can see a Japanese anime/manga made from this series very easily. I love Kaoru... She's a very caring person, hard working, works her way through obsticles, doesn't let anyone get in her way.

Kind of strange to say, but at a low point in my life, I watched this drama and Kaoru's "ganbaru!" attitude really helped me out a lot. For this reason, it's one of my favorite dramas.

There are 3 seasons out of this dramas. All I can say is very funny but somehow the story gets interested as it goes on. Only 25 min per episodes and about 60 eps total.

Cute little comedy with lots of cute girls. One of those shows were I sort of questioned the seeming rigidness of Japanese society.

One of the best dramas I've seen so far. A bit cheesy and overly done slapstick comedy at times, but it got me hooked to watch numbers 2, and 3. And in which I'm also anticipating the airing of #4. Kato Takako is an excellent actress and no task proved to be too much for her. She pulls off one of the most powerful performances I've seen a Japanese actress do.
