Trading Card Game, Anyone??

Hey I play Magic too but I suck big time.
Anyway this weekend is a big day for all the players.
Those who play the game should know what I mean.

i nv went play Tournament or any other before.... because i'm sucks, i just play with frens....

I've played the PC game "Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos Joey the Passion." I'm so frustrated cuz I can't even beat Katsuya Jonouchi and his Red Eyes Black Dragon/Time Wizard-Baby Dragon combo. :beaten:

Wow good to hear there's a type 2 player :victory: , For me I just buy a couple of boosters every block (especially the latest one), just to catch up with the current magic its getting hard.. so many new mechanism.. on the good side there will be more combos though

i know some of my cards were thrown away by my mum during spring cleaning :shamefulcry:

I still got my Yugioh and pokemon cards too! Man, I still love looking at them even though i dont play anymore. They look so cool =)

Type 2 is term for the standard latest card. If I'm not mistaken the standard is from the latest block to and the previous one plus the latest ed. As the nem expansion added so the standard zone is moved, then the block which no longer in standard zone called extended. :victory:

Its because for some people they don't understand the value of the card, maybe they think its just like ordinary poker card that could be bought again easily

well.........i don't know anyone who "throw away cards" but many just sell off their cards to someone who are into them.

Asking that is like asking "why would you buy trading cards or get into them? they're just pieces of cardboard paper or so with a picture on them

That right there is also the answer many of the people i know gave me.

when I was in high school, teachers will throw away cards if they find students playing at school. They think it would distract students from their learning. :beaten:

Blue - Counterspell (Tempest)

it's the best blue counterspell of all time !

Green - Llanowar Elves (5th Ed)

probably Birds of Paradise is the best green creature, but Llanowar Elves is the best green common card. and I love elfs. It helps you accelerate right past your opponents, and get a creature to boot.

Black - Dark Ritual (Tempest)

when building a black deck, the first card that I want to put into the deck is Dark Ritual.

White - Disenchant (4ED)(or Seal of Cleansing)

a very powerfull white cards which is useful in many situations

Red - Mogg Fanatic (Tempest)

He attacks, he blocks, and he shoots. you will find few creatures as good as this one.

For me my fav MTG card by color

Island (blue)
Spell/enchanment :Counterspell (any expansion, whatever the illustrator the effect still mind blowing), Force of Wheel(the best counterspeel ever created), Stand still
Creature : Ambasador Laquatus

Forest (green)
Spell/enchanment: Rancor
Creature : Birds of paradise(no need to expalin this) and wild mongrel (combo this with any madness card and boom!!:victory:)


Mountain (red)
Spell/enchanment: Shock (my fav damage dealer spell)
Creature :Blistering Firecat (1MMM for 7/1 haste, trample cerature but sac it end of turn, its just plain annoying) and raging goblin (my friend have this ultra-speed goblin deckand its just plain fascinating to see those 1/1 creatures make a pact and kill you in one blow..)

Plain (white)
Spell/enchanment: Wrath of God (creature sweeper..) and Wings of shards
Creature : Akroma angel of wrath, and suntail hawk

Swamp (black)
Spell/enchanment: Burried alive and Innocent blood
Creature : Avatar of Woe (I love R K Post illustration.. he's really good)

No, I think I saw em somewhere before in jakarta.. but only a few though

Green : Verdeloth the Ancient (the first rare i got :mrgreen: )

Black : Megrim (it's deadly if you combine with Memory jar/Magus of the Jar :dead: )

White : Serra Angel ( a beauty :drooling: )

Blue : Cytoplast Manipulator (love the cool Graft ability with gain control :inlove: )

Red: Browbeat (love to see my frens' expression when they ponder on it :hehe: )

Multicolor : Sliver Queen (All time Favourite :victory: )

Artifact : Shield/Sword/Helm of Kaldra (it's cool to cast them :bonk: )
