Okada Junichi was supposed to play Chiaki at first. But a friend of Ninomiya-sensei(the author of Nodame) strongly recommended that Tamaki-kun should be Chiaki after she watched Nagurimono.
The friend was totally right. Okada Junichi is handsome but he's too short to play Chiaki.

I found it pretty good, tho I think Tamaki should have been more "evil" to act such a character, and can see that Tamaki improved alot these years.

Honto?? well i can see why Okada Junichi was a candidate. He has the pretty face for the role, but other than that.... there's something he's missing, I just can't say what it is. My conclusion is: Ninomiya-sensei made the right choice!!
