Anybody seen any of the Patlabor series or movies? The 3rd movie is on TV on Thursday, i'm debating whether to tape it.

I loved 3, it's better than the other movies IMO.


been trying to finish watching Eureka 7, it was on hold for a long period then they suddenly released the final 5 episodes in one batch I remember - but never got around watching it.

I'm having a hard time to get back into the story now :sweat: - too much drama...

After all that, I forgot to tape it :bonk: Stupid me. But I know where I can download it, so it's all good.

h&c 2 is bleh....i'm not quite done with it but the feel and tone of the series is worlds apart from the first series....to the extent that it's lost a lot of its luster...it's like watching a drama but animated. disappointing. i think they lost the delicate balance b/n evocative drama and boisterous humor.

yeah.. i did try to prepare anyone who wasn't watching them as they were released... course, it's buried in the back pages now.

in fact i do recall your post...but it's obviously more appreciated upon actually watching the show...despite the fact that you were most correct in your assessment of it. they dropped the ball man. it's waaaay too melodramatic....in fact i've found many parts down right boring.

Watched the first eps of Yawara again. Did they ever complete the subs for that one? Anyone know?
