I really wish they extended the series, the last 5 eps seemed so rushed...
:puupydog:
yeah, i wasn't a full 78 eps which i think would've covered the Yakitate 27 like in the manga.

I watched the first four eps of Akagi last night.
Very cool. Ive only read one manga, For KAikan Phrase.
I missed the color and movement of the anime but I wanted to know what would happen. :bonk:

I am currently reading Detroit Metal City, very funny. I prefer the manga to the live action movie, which is a surprise because it's about music.
I will start Slam Dunk and Real soon - I have been told my life is only worth half without those two series.
Then I am reading a really grotty shoujo called Forbidden Love, and it's about a brother and sister in love.
EDIT:    ignore this post - I intended to post in the manga thread.

Watched the first two episode of Cross Game anime. They were pretty good although the first episode felt too short/rushed. It reminded me to look for the Touch anime again, which I was lucky to find this time.

Cross Game and Touch are made by the same manga artist - forgot the name...
The way they are doing the anime, it looks like it will be a short series since they've managed to put in a lot of chapters in the two eps...
Cross Game, Skip Beat and Ookukku Furikabutte are the three mangas that I've been eagerly awaiting new chapters of so Iwas really happy when they made an anime adaptation....

Mitsuru Adachi. I really like H2 as well, but the anime was cut short. :shakehead:
I don't watch a lot of anime but I do like ONE OUTS.

Yes, he's the one...
same author as H2 and Katsu...
Katsu would probably be a good anime as well.
I hope they release one. The live-action Katsu movie was too compressed to bring out the gist of the story
Watching Touch anime. I haven't watched many anime, but this is really far and above what I expect from an anime series. The first time I read Touch, I didn't think it was such a great series, I liked H2 better. But it improved with every reading, and the anime has added something more to it again.

Finally finished Touch. Even though there were lines that I wish they didn't leave out, it was a great ending... I enjoyed it very much.

I started that series.
Got worried it might be too sad.
Currently I am obsessed with Naruto Shippuden.
Im on ep 32.
When the going gets tough I go anime.
Nothing like some awesome ninja jutsus to solve life's problems. :beaten:

There were a few episodes, about one-third into the series, but the rest are ok. I usaully can't watch anything too sad, so hopefully it will be ok for you too.

That's good to know.
Im getting ready to start another anime.
I'm picking up where I left off on 'One Piece', and now I'm seriously considering H2.
The one thing that I've been trying to get my hands on since forever is the English dubbed, Animax version of Cardcaptor Sakura. I saw all of the Japanese episodes in my teens (which wasn't that long ago, actually  ), and now I'd like to see the redubs. They can't be found anywhere online though. Every supposed CCS Animax torrent/direct dl/etc. turns out to be the sucky US version that I've always hated with a passion :grumble:
