I hope Kyouraku wins. It's not often we get to see him fighting and I think he'll do well! In my mind, besides the Captain-Commander, he's definitely the top-ranked Captain besides Unohana and Ukitake. They are after all, the 3 oldest Captains! :)

And there's going to be a filler arc right before Ichigo-Ulquiorra battle. :grumble: Can't help it maybe, because the anime is catching up too fast to the manga. There's 3 useless filler episodes, but the the next filler arc looks to be awesome and Tite Kubo is writing it himself! It's the "Materialization of Zanpakutou" arc, and apparently TK is going to be transfer it into the manga, so it won't be a filler arc anymore after this.

That's how I feel about 99.9% of anime where they have to yell out the name of some move they are about to perform... naruto, bleach, etc.

come on.. could you imagine, olympic boxing for example... the fighters yelling out "right jab, right jab, left right combo, fake right jab, fake body blow, uppercut" while they are boxing?

You're only supposed to shout out the name of your uber, finishing move that you've trained years to perfect. In acknowledgement of this fact, large, boldfaced kanji slam into the screen as you yell.

Oh, there's another thing these uber long series stupidity... using progressively more powerful moves/attacks/weapons.

Oh.. well, just fisting that bad guy won't work.. i'll try kicking. Oops, no effect. How bout the very first super move i learned as a child. Oh, nothing there either, didn't even faze him. Well, let me use my NEXT super move that I learned after finding out that everyone is immune to my last super move. Oh wait, that doesn't work either.. well. I'll just have to go back and train for ANOTHER super finishing move.

Oops, that didn't work on said badguy. I'll go find some obscure sensei that has an EVEN more uber special move.

I don't know how you guys can watch the same set of plots over and over.

LOL, but just so you guys know, Bleach rarely does that, shouting out the names of the moves or something like that. The names are their sword spirit's names, and if you don't call out their names then the spirit won't come out and you won't be able to fully utilize their power. Basically the sword spirits are like living beings and the partners of the shinigamis. And I must say that Bleach really is different from a lot of said animes. :)

wow.. never expected to see so much hate towards Bleach :confused: i can see that if u dont like naruto.. u ain't gonna like bleach either..especially to all you "hardcore" anime fans.. (im assuming cuz these are the 2 mainstream series) but i can't comprehend how u can like one and completely dislike the other

to all you bleach haters, i'm curious - what animes are u guys watching/fan of?

most anime series i enjoyed have been already finished.. naruto/bleach/onepiece are the only ongoing ones that i currently watch though

i'm a one piece fan too but one piece isn't doing anything oh so different from bleach.. still can't see the extreme hate for it when one piece is pretty much in the same genre of anime imo..

lol i wouldn't even be an anime fan if all i was looking for were their next "new move". the characters and their individuality, the way they interact with other characters, the animation, the overall story and background story, and the stories and questions that you know will be answered later is what makes me a fan. yea u can say bleach's story isn't as indepth as say Full Metal Alchemist.. but it's still a great anime i think that all of you are overlooking the series.. especially how some of u guys are saying u only watched the first few episodes

for example one piece.. i friggin hated the first 15 episodes.. (my gf made me keep watching) and soon when they picked up sanji i started becoming a real fan

you're right.. it's been a while since i watched bleach and still had the image of him with the bucket on his head..lol so i got confused

yea i think kyourakku is probably going to win.. but i know someone from the 13th protective squad is going to get whooped on and iichigo gonna save the day.. haha i can't figure out who though - i'm thinking maybe aizen whoops on captain commander? ;O

i don't mind the fillers where they flashback to say.. kenpachi's background.. or the current one where they're doing that story on the zakpaktou.. those stories are pretty damn awesome and you can tell they "belong" in the story.... but u know them fillers that are just plain.......fillers....rofl.. i can't stand em!

Speaking of fillers, I got to agree that this one is probably the best. But which one do you hate the most? For me it's gotta be the Bounto arc. The only time I got interested in it was when they infiltrated Seireitai and got whooped by the captains! And the episodes are taking too long to get to the main arc again! :grumble:

All in all, I'm so glad that Bleach has returned to the original Aizen story.! :)

WEll I didnt get through Bleach but I watched 16 eps so obviously I didnt hate it. But I havent finished several of the longer series because they got a little boring.
I must admit, them shouting out their moves cracks me up. But I dont hate it either. Maybe Im like you and it is beacuse I dont understand Japanese.
Currently Im checking out the second season of SAiunkoku Mongatari. THe first had he hooked but it is taking a bit for me to get into this one.

yea..i think i gotta agree with u.. that bounto one was :bleh: i hate those wack fillers that you "have" to watch because then you'll miss a part of the storyline.... those are the worst

yea i'm anxious for the main arc too! although this filler is quite enjoyable.. i wish they'd put them inbetween story arcs or somethin ;T

fair enough =P if you can't get into it by then you prob never will.. though as i stated in a previous post.. it took me 15-20 episodes to really like one piece

na i never seen slam dunk..maybe i'll give it a shot because i like basketball -.-

i started to watch hajime no ippo because i like boxing too and got into it for the first few fights..at least like 20 or so episodes? then i realized that the whole anime is literally "train.. learn a new move.. fight new guy.." rinse and repeat. they weren't that creative about that storyline imo...that jus got old to me real quick ;T i tried hard to like it though


bleh im kinda bored with anime now that i'm caught up with naruto and bleach....i still got one piece but i'm lazy to find out where i left off -.-
