I finally watched all of the movie Paprika last night. What a trip! It would have to be one of the most visually amazing animes i've ever seen, but the plot was a little... confusing :nut:

^ Hi Sandy, I personally prefer torrents but if I remember well, a site called Anime Eden was recommended in this thread a few pages ago. I believe they have direct downloads (but I could be wrong).

I've never seen that show but Rumiko Takahashi's creations all seem to be pretty good.
New episodes of Mahoromatic...

I scrolled up but I couldn't figure out if these pictures were a response to someone else's post. Do you mind telling me what anime this is from? :) Looks like something I would enjoy!
The two pictures are not from an anime, but are a parody combining images and ideas from two different anime --- My Neighbor Totoro and Azumanga Daioh.
If you haven't seen these shows, you should do so, as they are both works of genius!

Really. AWESOME!!!!!! :woot: :woot:
@Tu-I am a huge Rumiko Takahashi fan. She was the first one to hook me on a long series with Urusei Yatsura. Perfect for the permanently deranged! :nut:

Lum is a precious jewel. :victory:
The whole premise of the anti-hero Ataru Moroboshi being born on the "unluckiest day of the Buddist calendar" really sets things up. It is another series I feel is most enjoyed when watched from ep one on. The story line really is consecutive.

Yeah...I see your point...it's really well written for a comedy.

Its a shame so few people recently have seen any of it. I got it on tape back in '94. Shows how ancient I am. :ashamed: :hehe:

That's how it was back in the day...trading on magnetic tape...I remember when I was really young, back in the day in '91...they had the first major anime convention in the US...it was in San Jose. It was called AnimeCon, the predecessor of today's Anime Expo which is the largest convention in N. America...anyway, back at this convention they had anime programming piped in thru the the cable channel system of the hotel and they allowed convention attendees staying at the hotel to bring their own VCRs to record the programming...it was nuts there were tons of ppl with VCRs in tow...some rooms had 4 or 5 VCRs hooked up to the room TV.
