Almost finished with Hanasaku Iroha, a lovely anime about an old style Hot springs Inn. Wonderful. Thanks for turning me on to it, Tu. :bow:

It's the best thing I've seen in quite awhile. Some exquisite artwork too. :victory:

On the final episode now.

I'm going old school and watching the 2004 series Monster...it's actually available on Netflix streaming subbed in English. A rarity.

Sounds kind of scary. I'm a bit of a wuss but it certainly got rave reviews.

I started it a years ago but never finished it...wanna try to this time around because it seems like an interesting title.

After trying out several animus I haven't seen, Touka Gettan, The melancholy of haruhi something or other and yawara (which I've seen) I gave up on shoji and gave started Akagi again, already on ep 4. Loved it the first time and I'm guessing I will the second as well. :victory:

They broadcast The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya here a while back on our local digital Japanese station, 18.2.... I saw a couple of episodes and thought it was meh...

Akagi is so gripping.

Somehow mahjong is both dark and suspenseful.

Already on ep 14. :victory:


Must admit the second half of the series is a bit creepy. :sweat:

Well the end of Akagi was creepy but absorbing. Back to ep 193 now of Naruto Shippuden. It's in some weird arc but Kakashi and other favorites are making appearances so good enough. :victory:

Wonder if I'll forget the main story line by the time they make it back to it. :beaten:

Slowly working my way through the Mach Go Go Go episodes... Really odd not hearing the voices (and English language) I'm used to hearing coming out of Speed, Trixie, et al... :beaten:
