And yes Beemer, :mrgreen: Speed Racer counts as anime. A childhood favorite of mine. Racer X, he was the man!

But it barely scratches the surface. There are so many extraordinary things that have come out.

Jackie Chan Adventures can be amusing but, I agree, is definitely not anime.

A trickier case is The Animatrix, which is U.S. produced and released but has many (but not all) Japanese directors and writers. In my mind, it's a U.S. movie with many anime segments.

pretty impressive michi ... well i think GTO is worthy ... i've wtached until eps 32 then stopped .. can't find them so i can dowload them :grumble:
it deals with some ex boss of those biker groups ...forgot the name :doh: ... he is 22 years old, slightly perveted (kono ero-kappa )... :hehe: and he really sucks as a teacher but i'd love to have a teacher like him ! it's so hilarious
anyway i've stopped counting the animes i've seen at 108 ( like in togari ? :crazy: ) .anyway it wasn't on purpose i just thought of my self as a dumb one .... :nut:
