Spoiler — click to revealNow that all the Serizawas are dead, who will inherit the fortune? Mari? If she did, she's one lucky woman. Then, she will get herself a new secretary to have another affair with. :beaten:

^ I was bothered by that too but it has a symbolic meaning behind it.
Spoiler — click to revealHe was walking against the crowd of ignorantly blissful people while "truth" reminded us of Naruse/Tomoo journey.

Very powerful scene and knowing "truth"'s meaning gave a greater impact to the whole scene.

As for Mari,
Spoiler — click to revealGood for her! :beaten: I kind of felt sorry for her waiting for Kasai to return...

HAHA. You are funny. I liked this drama. *sigh* someone needs to add this drama to Ohno's page so I can add it!

I see. Now I know. Maou's full of symbolism. Almost one in every scene. :hehe:

The drama database finally been updated! :woot:
Don't forget to rate and vote for Maou here: http://jdorama.com/drama.1319.htm

The Nikan Sports Drama Awards voting just started! It will end on October 4 so please vote for Maou as best drama, best Actor (Ohno Satoshi = "‘å–ì’q(–‚‰¤,TBS)"), best supporting actor (pick one of the "–‚‰¤(TBS)" xD), best supporting actress (Kobayashi Ryoko ¬—Ñ—ÁŽq). Full instruction here: http://community.livejournal.com/arashi_on/913218.html
Too bad Toma is in the lead actor category. I would have voted for him if he's in the supporting actor category. Ohno consistently was amazing throughout the series. Plus we have to vote for a female lead and Maou had none. I voted for Miyazaki Aoi (Atsuhime lead actress)
Please vote.
They only allowed one vote but try using different browsers. I voted twice using Firefox & IE

Late in discovering this wonderful article translation by enshinge:
A destiny that cannot be circumvented, a past that cannot be forgiven
I find this particularly interesting:
Takahashi producer talks about the new drama gMaohh
The core of the gNovel and challengingh Friday drama legend lies here
I know of no other team like our gMaohh team in which the cast and the staff discuss so deeply about the piece of work. In this, ideas youfd never fathom keep coming up. For example, making Ryofs room a room that has all the tools for a perfect revenge. Even if it doesnft have to do with the main storyline, we carefully choose each small prop. All the staff are united in their commitment to this piecefs worldview. The Korean version is extremely well crafted, so I want to make this a novel Japanese version of the drama that incorporates the originalfs gimmicks together with our passion. An overwhelming sense of speed and development, and tearsc wefll show you a drama like one youfve never seen before.

What the Korean drama version gMaohh draws
What are true evil intentions, what is real righteousness?
A suspense drama broadcasted in Korea during March last year; it caused a social sensation like how there was a fan meeting involving several thousands. Joon Ji Hoon acted a lawyer usually kind-hearted towards the weak, but a Maoh who pours his heart and blood into avenging his killed younger brother. Uhm Tae Woong did a superb job acting as the police detective that he targets. Various metaphors that are sprinkled throughout the episodes, the mystery that connects keywords such as the Greek hero Oedipus on tarot cards, and of course the human relationships involving siblings, and parents are also something to watch for.

Just how I had imagine Maoh team at work :)

Excuse me.. did Ohno just won Best Lead Actor in a dorama for Nikkan Sports Drama Awards?
I saw it was posted on LJ communities but the source was from a now locked YamaPi's Code Blue LJ.. :headscratch:
Any official news/link?

Its almost a sweep for Maou
Best Drama: Maou (This season was pretty weak. Maou was the most entertaining with wonderful acting and plot imo :victory: )
Best Lead Actress: Miyazawa Aoi - Atsuhime
Best Actor: Ohno Satoshi - Maou (as expected)
Best Supporting Actor: Tanaka Kei - Maou (I voted for Serizawa's father though)
Best Supporting Actress: Kobayashi Ryoko - Maou ( :dancing: )

I think Code Blue got second in everything. Popularity not strong enough to win this I guess.

p/s OT: sorry mods for the previous sig. i thought the height was within range.

I'm still at epi 4 now...

I watched 'The Devil' korean version first than this dorama remake...
So far, there is nothing new that I found in dorama version, exactly the same with korean storyline, which disappointed me coz japanese usually try to make their 'own thing' when it came to remake.

I watched Meteor Garden first than Hana Yori Dongo, and Hana-Kimi taiwan first than dorama, both were completely different than their counterpart even though it actually the same storyline. So I kindda hope Maou is slightly different than The Devil, but so far it 100% the same! Because of that, I found Maou totally uninteresting coz I keep comparing it with korean version, which superbly GREAT ACTING from the actors.

However I will finishing it coz of the spirit of 'THE DEVIL'

in this drama ochan and toma look so cool~ they're totally different with the real face of them....especially toma.... in hanazakarino kimitachi he, he is happ-go-lucky boy...but in this drama he's totally different with what he used to be....
ochan's smile brings a lot of meaning on this drama.... he doesn't look as his true face that such a crazy boy...
and the theme song is very very suitable with this story...
