I've played Gran Turismo 4 and I wasn't really impressed with anything besides the car models. the backgrounds look as if there 2D.Not to mention the lack of online play. I took it back for credit and got the new Forza Motorsport.
Now that is a complete racing game experience. The models and background graphics definetly will give your XBox a run for its money and then some. The customization options for your cars are awesome many diffrent paint style upgrades the works. The tracks are long and beautiful. The opponent AI is killer as they make there own mistakes and even try to take you out of the track causeing you to spin out.
The soundtrack isn't that good but Come on with custom soundtracks playing in the background while you race and in the menus that kicks arse. From decals to weight reduction its all here. Great selection of cars. Man my mini cooper runs at 175 MPH.
And the online play is unbeleivable being able to sell your custom cars to other people rocks and car clubs(clans) is just so cool. I've had some super heated races on live.
Overall IMHO this game blows GT4 out of Nurburgring's water and will have you coming back for more.
I managed a lap of Tsukaba Dry in 55 seconds with a 450bhp Nissan Silvia S15 Spec-R.
Could I just ask, how do ya set your car to oversteer/drift? Been trying that for ages. Especially since I'm using a controller, when I try to pull the car back from a drift, it just flops to the other side and I lose control... :(
both the cars are Bone Stock.. as far as drivetrains... For the Subaru GDA I added Nos.. I think it's at 466HP right now, Can't remember what it is for the Mitsu.
Only thing I did to the Mitsubushi was Upgrade the shock to Sport shocks.. the stock ones really Bite and I got the pictures to prove it..
and yeah drifing is hard, it was easy in GT3.
If I'm correct I don't think I've seen anyone show any pictures of Tsukaba Wet yet.. this track is crazy slick!
But it's easy to get the car sideways.
I might take a Bmw M3 out and see how it handles.
For the cars you are running what tires do you have on them? and how are you trying to drift? I pull the handbrake before the turn.. You have to get it just right or you will come up short or spin out.
