it is a very depressing topic since here in the US half of the marriages don't work. we should just keep this so we can talk about marriage of friends, parents, grandparents, problems with children, in-laws, spouse, advices from married people and what not. (i know we get side track sometimes, ~guilty~)

but we do have happy ones. like my first cousin (he's about 10 years or so older than me) has been with his wife ever since 7th Grade. they married right after college (he's an engineer and she's a teacher) have two kids now. if i counted it right, they've been together for 20+ years and married for 12+ years. they've passed the average marriage of 3 years and the 7th year "itch" and they're only in their mid 30's. but sometimes they're too sweet, they always say their soulmates this and that, it makes me wanna gag. :hehe: maybe i'm just jealous and bitter :usuck:

You are just a normal human being then. It's the same gene that kicks in when you watch SOS and it tells you: "this is so wrong... I need to barf." :bleh:

A lot of people are happy when cute couple breaks. Hollywood anyone? ;)
