I don't know about Saiyuuki but I saw this about Hero yesterday:

The "HERO" movie opened this weekend on 475 screens, the most ever for a domestic film in Japan. As expected, it took the top spot at the box office, with a gross of 1.08 billion yen.

Distributor Toho believes the film may be able to surpass "Pirates of the Caribbean: World's End," which is the #1 film so far this year. Producer Chihiro Kameyama is even more optimistic, hoping to earn more than the 2003 hit "Odoru Daisousasen 2," which set the record for a domestic live-action film. That movie was also produced by Kameyama.

"HERO" has its sights set on Korea next. It will screen at the Pusan International Film Festival before being released on 250 screens, the biggest opening for a Japanese movie in that country

Another article mentioned that the box office for Hero may have been even larger had there not been a typhoon last week. Same one mentioned that perhaps it would be released in Europe and the US. That wouldn't surprise me since Takuya went to Cannes to promote it. I figured that was a sign they were hoping to release it worldwide.

VanessaAyukawa wrote:BUT anyway, never limit yourself, infact if you ever feel that fans make you feel that way, just speak more of Matsu/Takuya!

Hahaha... ooo, you guys are making a big mistake! I'm really going to held a KIMURA-MATSU CAMPAIGN here, then!!! :hehe: LOL!! I guess for those who doesn't like Matsu, can skip all these anyway, ne ^_^

Just wanted to share something funny about them...

KimuraMatsu mentioned this certain mail-order goods 3 times during interviews: the interview after the Budokan premiere, Bokura no Ongaku and Ohsama no Buranchi.

In the interview after Budokan, Matsu said she has this head-massage/washer device that she bought via mail-order.

[image][image]

She was so cute, looking very enthusiastic talking about the device. And Kimura said he also have that head-massage device and that product can only be bought by mail-order. Matsu said how she just found out there's a new type of that device on sale, she asked Kimura, "Do you know? Do you know that?". Kimura said, "This is an interview. Not a place to exchange informations about mail-order goods..." :hehe:

In Bokura no Ongaku... Kimura asked Matsu, what mail-order goods she has...

Matsu: I have... the head massage machine...
Kimura: *making sounds and hand gestures, imitating how the machine works*
Matsu: Yes... actually it was YOU who told me how to use that one!! *laughs*

[image][image]

Then... in Ohsama no Buranchi! Omg, can't believe Kimura actually said it... The MC asked, "What kind of goods did you buy via mail??".

Kimura replied, "Well... uhh... *remembers something* Oh! Actually...*turns to Matsu*.... there's something that we own together! (kyouyuu/joint ownership)..."

The MC sounded really in awe and couldn't immediately respond to that...haha! The MCs were like, "hee~? What...?", "is it a coincidence...or ?"....

Kimura points at himself and also Matsu, back and forth, added, "We both have that rights of enlistment..."

Matsu looked cutely shy, and kinda bit her lower lip!^^

The MC asked what thing they bought and Matsu said its the head-massage machine.

Hahaha~~!! I can't believe Kimura said that he owns it together with Matsu xD Of course, he was joking and the truth is they both have their own head-massage machine. But he joked it that way and he looked really like proud of it, or like wanted to show off, "hey, I own something together with Matsu Takako!" And doesn't it sound like they already live together or somthin?? :hehe: Can't believe this guy!! But, I LOVE IT!!!!

Okay... enryonaku, here are the rest of the translations... ^^

Bokura no Ongaku ~7 September 2007

translated by Yanie

Tsuyoshi (narration/voice-over): This is a program where the guest meet the person he wanted to meet the most at the moment...

Kimura is sitting on the chair, looking straight at the empty space. Matsu comes in, but he didn't move or look at her at all.

Matsu: *sitting on the chair, facing Kimura* Hello...

Silence for a second.

Suddenly, Kimura lift up his hand and high-fiving towards Matsu.

Kimura: Yayy!!!
Matsu: *welcomes his high-five, laughing* Bikkuri(you scared me)... !!
Kimura: Tomorrow...finally HERO is gonna be on roadshow...
Matsu: Yes!
Kimura: In any case, we'll have to talk about lots of things openly and frankly today!
Matsu: Hai, onegaishimasu!
Kimura: Just so you know... I'm not an MC here...
Matsu: (laughs) E..., I actually intend to depend everything on you.

Kimura: Okay then, let's start from the beginning... I'm Kimura Takuya, nice to meet you! *bows*
Matsu: I'm Matsu Takako! *bows*

Kimura: Okay, lets start... Bokura no Ongaku (Our Music)...
Matsu: Yes...
Kimura: I've been watching this program alot, and there were so many different people has met and talked about lots of things...
Matsu: Yes, yes... I've also appeared in this program once.
Kimura: Me too... with DEF TECH members. We went to many places together.
Matsu: Aah...
Kimura: If we don't increase the other party's motivation and spirit...
Matsu: Aa, like to bring up topics about their hobbies and everything, ne...
Kimura: Exactly....without it, we can't do this program, y'know....
Matsu: You're right.
Kimura: So... will we be alright today?
Matsu: Probably, yes... I think we'd be alright... But are you going to use formal language like that, till the end of the show?? *laughs* For me, I'm using formal language... that's normal for me, because I always use formal language with you anyway....

Kimura: You were so NOT in the filming locations...!!
Matsu: Nani-tte---...!!? Chotto matte kudasai!! (what are you saying? wait a minute please!!)

(note: haha...Matsu was not using the formal language anymore at one point there^^)

Kimura: *imitating informal Matsu* ...Chotto...oyy, oy....
Matsu: *laughs* Didn't you say we should speak frankly here?!!
Kimura: *still imitating her* ...oyy, kohi motte kite! (get me some coffee, will ya'??)
Matsu: Wait, wait.... that's... we wouldn't want the topic to get too wide, right??
Kimura: Nope, it's okay, it won't get wide!

(On the screen: "11-nen no Tsuki-ai no Futari/The Two who Had Been Together For 11 Years")

Matsu: In the beginning, the first time I worked in a TV dorama series...Long Vacation filming location.... I always troubled everyone... and I kept thinking about it, and kept telling myself, "I have to work hard! I have to do my best!".
Kimura: No, no... zenzen(not at all)...*making a funny face, shaking his hand* ...not at all~
Matsu: *laughs, then she turn to the staffs* Please, record that face he made just now!!
Kimura: *laughs*

Matsu: It was 10...? 11 years ago... so I went really "Gyaaa~"...when Kimura-san gave me pointers, point by point, non-stop...
Kimura: But...that time... hmm...
Matsu: It means, you didn't hate me that time, right?
Kimura: Who? O-Taka (*his pet name for Matsu)?
Matsu: *nods* Ee, ee...
Kimura: Me?? Hate O-Taka?
Matsu: Ee, ee.... like "Give me a break already!"....
Kimura: Aaaah~....*thinks*
Matsu: *shocked* Hee??! Wait....
Kimura: *laughs* 'Give me a break' feelings... nope, not at all.
Matsu: Aa.... that's good (yokatta~)...
Kimura: There's always times when we meet the other casts and bows "yoroshiku onegaishimasu!" and all...right?
Matsu: Yes...
Kimura: It all started from there, desho?
Matsu: Ee, sou desu ne~
Kimura: From there, I didn't see anything exagerrated at all from O-Taka...
Matsu: Oo.... Arigatou go--zaimasu *unsure*...
Kimura: No, no, its not something you should say to me... Actually, I rarely find someone who does that... I don't think men does that too... Oh, but our members (*SMAP) sometimes does it... when they think its necessary, they'll exagerrate themselves...
Matsu: Heee... sou nan da... You know, we haven't talk about the movie at all, up to now.
Kimura: This is bad, huh?

(note: I really don't get what they talk about this exaggerrating stuffs xD gomen!)

Kimura: So, HERO The Movie is a filming since 6 years ago... What do you think?
Matsu: It was really fun! But, to think of it... 6 years is quite something, isn't it??
Kimura: Sou desu yo... Even so, when everyone had gather again. It took even faster than an instant ramen, for us to get used with each other again, wasn't it? It all just naturally went like that, ne...
Matsu: Yeah... and when it was over, we were all like "Let's do a movie some other time, again..."... and somehow for everyone to line-up, is a top necessity, isn't it?
Kimura: Then we talked about... if we're going to do this again... those Josai members are...
Matsu: A-must...
Kimura: ...a-must, aren't they??
Matsu: Yeah, I remember we talked about that...

(note: Kimura just indirectly stated that he gets along and loved the Josai members' casts better than the HERO SP's Nijigaura casts members (Tsutsumi Shinichi, Ayase Haruka, etc) :P)

Kimura: Right now... of course, you meant it... But... *Kimura is gesturing his hand towards Matsu and Matsu is looking at his hand*.... you didn't have much power that time, did you?

[image][image]

Matsu: *laughs* Wait a minute!! Wait! Be careful! Be careful of what you are saying!
Kimura: What, what? I'm right, aren't I? You weren't at your best, deshou?
Matsu: I was at my best!! I appeared on TV, deshou~??
Kimura: At least... on the filming location, O-Taka didn't have power right?
Matsu: Mmm.......well, basically...yeah...
Kimura: You're just like a man.
Matsu: *laughs*
Kimura: Among other male co-stars, you're like a MAN the most.
Matsu: Ara... well, though I feel happy with that...
Kimura: You were like... there were times you were almost at your best, but then at another time, I was thinking, you lost your power again...? I mean, among the casts... Matsumoto Koshiro existed....
Matsu: Ahh... yes, yes... he is my father...
Kimura: See?? With that "yes, he is my father!" ...it gave you alot of power, doesn't it?? Though you talked about it casually, but it was actually special for you, right?
Matsu: Eee....

Matsu: When I first heard that my father, Koshiro-san will appear in the movie, I thought, "Wa~ this is bad!"... I mean, I never thought of my own father would ever appear in HERO. But then, in the filming location... on the contrary, it was my father who felt so nervous... like when he did scenes with Kimura-san... so I felt, he really went on board with us.

[image][image]

Kimura: But you know, with you and Koshiro-san there together... I felt like there's a pair of carnivores came!
Matsu: *laughs* Aaa...
Kimura: ....frankly, I thought of that...
Matsu: For me, he's just like ....a senpai(senior) who may do his best to coincide with me...
Kimura: That part is really great! Also, in the Osaka location...
Matsu: ....aaa...
Kimura: We went having dinner together, right?

(On the screen: "3-nin no Shokuji-kai/The 3 People Having Dinner Together")

Matsu: Really, really.... thank you! Really...
Kimura: That time... it felt I was having dinner with my girlfriend's father, y'know!
Matsu: *laughs*
Kimura: "Anoo... ah, domo... with your daughter, it has been... thank you for inviting me to a place like this...."....with that kind of tension... really....
Matsu: *laughs*
Kimura: ...sugoi ureshikattan dayo ne... (...I felt really happy....)
Matsu: Really, ne... that night really left a deep memory....
Kimura: And then... to see O-Taka serving Koshiro-san, placing salad to his plate... it really striked me!
Matsu: *laughs* ....strike??
Kimura: Then, to see Koshiro-san who looked a bit embarrassed about it, making a straight face... "Mm..mm..aa...".... it also striked me too!
Matsu: *laughs* .......hontou ni, arigatou gozaimashita. (really thank you for coming.)

Matsu: Kuryu-san loves mail-order goods, right?
Kimura: Yeah, he does. And really, on the set of Kuryu's house, 360 degrees are all mail-order goods!
Matsu: Yes, yes... it all piled up and you tried them all, didn't you?
Kimura: Yeah, I looked at one "How does this thing works?....ahh, like this..."...
Matsu: You know how to use them all in the end...
Kimura: I know there are people in this world who underestimate mail-order goods and thinks, "What are they doing, buying stuff like that?"... but you know what... What's good is just... good.
Matsu: Wow, your eyes shines saying that....! "What's good is just good".
Kimura: What's good is just good! I'm right, aren't I?? What mail-order goods do you have?
Matsu: I have... the head massage machine...
Kimura: *making sounds and hand gestures, imitating how the machine works*
Matsu: Yes... actually it was YOU who told me how to use that one!! *laughs*

Matsu: I also bought DVD boxes...
Kimura: What DVD box?
Matsu: Hm? Gegege no Kitaro! ....also, Arale-chan!
Kimura: With mail-order?
Matsu: Yes, I bought them with mail-order...
Kimura: Aaa... I don't think I can say the same embarrassing thing about things I bought....
Matsu: Heee?? What do you mean??! I didn't feel embarrass at all about it, just now!!! Kitaro is really awesome, y'know!!! Even from the black and white picture era---!!
Kimura: You watched since that era??!

Kimura: Okay, I was going to talk about something related to mail-order, but I forgot now... wait, let me think....
Matsu: Sou desu ka... okay, take your time, think about it.... *to the camera* Tomorrow, HERO The Movie will premiere.... it will premiere... *looks at Kimura who is still thinking* ... then, we'll also appear in the butaiaisatsu....
Kimura: AAAA---!!! Ano ne!
Matsu: *laughs* Hai!
Kimura: There was one time, that I ordered goods through mail... but it never came!
Matsu: Hee??
Kimura: I was really shocked.
Matsu: Is the goods something you can say openly here?
Kimura: Almost...
Matsu: Almost?
Kimura: Somehow its not "Bokura no Ongaku"-ish...
Matsu: What's that??!
Kimura: It's something... that O-Taka's brother enlisted(nyuutai)....
Matsu: Ahhh... that...
Kimura: That "camp"... (*Billy's Boot Camp exercise DVD)
Matsu: ...it only stayed on his cabinet for 1 hour...
Kimura: But I have it already now...
Matsu: I also have it.
Kimura: But you didn't go for enlistment right?
Matsu: No... Wait, please talk properly!
Kimura: I like it, I like something like that!!
Matsu: Ahh... I guess there are some people like that...
Kimura: I like them with the feel "I have the right of enlistment, y'know!".... you understand?
Matsu: I don't get it... Anyway, I sometimes exercise it, y'know...

(note: Okay, frankly... I don't get what Kimura is saying... he said "nyuutai", and I looked up, it means "enlistment"... have nooo idea how it related to their topic xD)

Matsu: Before stageplays, I exercise it for warming up.
Kimura: So you do something like this...? "Today, yoroshiku onegaishimaaasu... In today's performance, hopefully there's no injury whatsoever... and, VICTORYYY!!!" ...like that?
Matsu: *laughs* For that... I did it at the lobby...

Kimura: You know, just now... I was shown a glimpse of HERO's....
Matsu: ....theme??
Kimura: Theme!
Matsu: Yes, yes!!
Kimura: Wow.... there were 50-something persons...
Matsu: I saw it.
Kimura: Mita (you saw)??
Matsu: Mita! Takayuki-kun (the composer) was doing this.... while moving his hand like this, but he also did the keyboard....
Kimura: Hora, sugoi(yes, that's it!)!! He's the conductor, right?? It was really sugoi...!! He was doing this *conducting* and this...*playing the keyboard*
Matsu: That was...
Kimura: He looked like "I'm on spotlight now, I'm on spotlight now"....
Matsu: *laughs* Ne?? I was surprised to see that too!
Kimura: Sugokatta! (it was really great!)

[HERO The Main Theme's orchestra performance conducted by Hattori Takayuki]

.....after this is the part where Kimura talked about SMAP and the ending.

May I review something?? PLEASE, let me review this...

Notice: Pardon if this is out of topic.
How lucky the Taiwanese fans! :good: I just wonder, is it the same procedure like in Japan?

My friends will be goin to Taiwan (but on a different matter) and was asking me to join, but if I go and it's still the same banana in procedures like in Tokyo where I have to find for some fanclub members who will not be watching, it will be too much of a hassle already since I'm pretty sure, Taiwanese will really use their concert tickets since it's a first time for them having a Johnny's talent holding a full concert, i.e.. NEWS & batting average, since this is only for 2 days, I'm pretty sure the tickets are cherished possessions and the probability of having resale is minimal.

Though I'm a true-blue SMAP fan, out of curiosity I bought the Never Ending Story DVD of NEWS' concert last April 2007 to find how NEWS carry a concert and I find them good performers also (like maybe SMAP when they were young because I find it humorous seeing them in their backstage antics, how they kid with each other, how they looked when they ate and funny antics when retiring for the night at the hotel-which I hope SMAP concert DVDs have this but I doubt it, they are now what you might call VIPs and those unguarded moments will not be shown anymore). Honestly, it's because I saw Shige in Goro's "I'm in love with a Dinosaur" (can't remember the Kanji title) and he's good so I said I want to see how he sing and dance. One thing I again confirmed, Johnny is good in tapping talents & training them, they can all sing and dance well.

[quote="yanie_chan"] . . .
Kimura: "That time".... on "that scene"... BEFORE "that scene"...
Matsu: Yes, yes...
Kimura: Did you brush your teeth??

Matsu didn't say a word, and her expressions are as you can see below :hehe:
=END=
Hahaha... Oh, my God!!! I wanna know her answer!!!!!! xD

I'm at a loss here! Was she shy because of that too personal question or she was guilty she didn't. What is it??? :bonk:

I'm sorry if this offends you but I really can't see NEWS to be that good of performers like SMAP. For one thing, NEWS con bored me to death and their li-synching for the most part is a real turn-off. And I have to say this, this con is the most boring con churned out of JE in the last 5 years (yup I watched them all), and to say that they're good performers like SMAP is something that I'm not willing to accept. Sorry again.
