Wow Shingo is looking amazing these days! I totally love his hair and he seems really thrilled to be promoting his new dorama. He's smart, he's all excited for it, so that makes me excited for it, it's now avalible for download at livejournal, so I'm going to head off and get started on downloading...

I've been rewatching the ROSE DAY live promo I taped 2 days ago, and I still screamed when I saw those screencaps posted by Elaine. Gosh, I'm must be so in love with this man, right now. Got a really high Shingo-fever. What's the medicine? xD

I wrote a recap of Shingo and Takeuchi Yuko's chemistry outside the drama. And also the bimyou/awkward moments between them during the interviews promo. It's interesting... I never seen Shingo have this much chemistry with his co-star actress ever since Yuuka. And I have to say, his chemistry with Yuko surpassed the one with Yuuka x)

-The bowling game incident, in Nakai's Bowling show. Takeuchi Yuko hit GUTTER, and everyone was so disappointed. The old guy from the other team was acting like he's shocked with Yuko's gutter, so he act like he falls to the floor... but unintentionally, his arm hit Yuko, so Yuko slipped and fall to the floor too. But everyone saw it like that old guy pushed Yuko deliberately.
Once they saw this incident, the Hanaya team were surprised, they helped Yuko to stand up. Terajima Susumu of the Hanaya team, jokingly kicked that old guy, and acting upset to him.
The guys from the old man's team immediately came forward and tried to pull him away, while apologizing.
Then, Shingo was acting MAD... Shingo was acting brutal and pretend trying to get a grip of that old man, and stood up for Yuko, he said to the old man, "What were you doing?? What was that?!". Nakai tried to pull Shingo away, laughing.
Of course I thought nothing of this, and just thought that it was both funny and sweet that Shingo stood up for Yuko like that, but he did it most probably to lighten up the atmosphere, since Yuko might feel a bit upset to the old man x)

-The first bimyou one is when Shingo was asked about Yuko, he said seriously, "KI-REI! Sugok-ku kirei desu ne(she's really beautiful)!! And very yasashii(kind)...". Shingo said it by emphasizing his tone and with this certain expression that looks like indicating Yuko is the most beautiful woman on the planet in his eyes, lol! Usually Shingo would answer, "She's a great actress blablabla," when asked abt his co-stars. So I was surprised to see this different answer. It sounded like an opinion of a common man about a girl xD
In the making, Shingo and Yuko were joking around on the set, Shingo made Yuko laugh, and Yuko was hitting Shingo's arm. Seem like they get along very well x)

-The second bimyou one is during Mezamashi interview...
Host: It's the first time that the two of you act together right? What is your impression of each other?
Shingo: It feels like its not the first time...
Host: Hoo... and that... means...?
Shingo: ....*looks at Yuko and the other hosts back and forth*.... dou iu koto desu ka ne? (I'm not sure myself) [everyone laughs]
Host: So, you both clicked right away on the set?
Shingo: Yes, yes...
Host: Takeuchi-san, what do you think?
Yuko: Yes, well... Katori-san is a very easy person to talk to, so I feel relaxed on the set.

Host: Okay, this is Katori-san's question for Takeuchi-san!
Shingo: *open up the card* Why won't you use the kneel pad?
Host: Ohh... Takeuchi-san doesn't use kneel pads?
Shingo: Yes, I think it's very important, to avoid getting hurt... not to mention, her character is blind. The staffs has prepared it, but Takeuchi-san didn't use it. If she stumbled over something, it would be dangerous, right? That's an actress' soul.
Yuko: Actually, I never really use my kneel...
Shingo: You never use your kneel? What do you mean?
Yuko: I mean, well... when I stumble, I just stumbled over...
Shingo: Demoo...mouu... abunai desu yo! (In any case, it's dangerous, y'know!)
Yuko: *laughs* Alright, I understand, I'll use it from now on.
Shingo: I was really worried... so I told the staff to give the kneel pads to her... but the staff returned and told me, "Takeuchi-san said, she doesn't need it,".
Yuko: *laughs* Sumimasen, I'm sorry I made you worried.

Wow~ Shingo is so caring ne!*v*


-The next bimyou moment was during the Bistro live, everyone was quiet. Yuko and Shota were eating the foods... Shingo with the flower costume sit beside Tsuyoshi after the oishii reaction. And somehow Yuko couldn't hold back her laugh evrytime she looks at Shingo, lol!! She laughed quite hard without a sound, but none of the members ask her or comments abt her laughing. Then she said to Shingo in a whispering voice, "Sasuga bara taishou desu ne(what a rose show)...". Shingo looked like he didn't know what to say to that, and just awkwardly looks down. It was quite a bimyou moment I cannot explain... unless you see Shingo's expression yourself^^

Then Shingo team won! When Nakai told Yuko that she has to kiss the winner, Yuko look down, covering her nose with the rose she's holding, and she was smiling shyly. I thought she came to Bistro for the 3rd, 4th time? What was she being shy for?? xD
When its time for Yuko to kiss Shingo, she couldn't stop giggling, haha, of course! Shingo had to turn that rose head 90 degrees so she can kiss his cheek, lol! :rofl:

Nope. Just happen to observed Shingo too much these days :hehe: But I don't want Shingo to be the stepfather of Nakamura Shido's son, lol!
Reminds me of Goro and Hasegawa Kyoko's chemistry outside the drama, the other SMAP members even teased them so much back then^^

karin-chan, yes, Goro was suspended from all entertainment activities for 143 days, from August 2001 to January 2002.

Jan 14th,2002 was the day that he made come back in smasma. Very touching :puppydog:

I must say, I'm flying high on Shingo myself! :smitten: There is no cure for this except to keep watching!. I agree that he has wonderful chemistry with Yuko and they seem to get along very well. Shingo is a geniunely nice person so it's easy to feel comfortable around him I think. I love to find out personally. Yanie, I wish I was in Japan right now so we could sit and analyze Shingo to the wee hours of the morning. :mrgreen: I'm so swooning these days! :inlove:

That was in the summer of 2001 I believe--the day before one of Smap's 10th Anniversary concert--so SMAP ended up doing the concert the next day with only 4 people.

You mean who did the concert? The rest of the members: Nakai, Kimura, Tsuyoshi, and Shingo. The four of them did the rest of the tour, as well as SXS, without Goro. Goro ended up getting suspended for around 5 months, and came back on a SXS show. I remember watching the SXS when Goro came back, and they did a recap of what Smap did those 5 months without Goro (Nakai had to cook on SXS for example :rofl: ).

Well you can't really compare Goro with Uchi and Kusano anyway. To the Japanese public, Uchi and Kusano are nothing. On the other hand, everybody in Japan knows Inagaki Goro.
