I wish. I don't really speak Japanese but I can understand it when I hear it. So if I watch a tv show without subtitles I'll usually get at least 50% of it. And I can read katakana and hiragana but barely any kanji. How bout you?

Oh, I know. The baby! It's hard to imagine that he has a younger brother. I can only picture him being surrounded by his four anikis.

I guess I can speak Japanese. I wouldn't be able to brag too much, though. I grew up here in Hawaii but my parents are both from Japan so everything at home is basically in Japanese. My conversational Japanese is not too bad (haha, if i'm speaking to like a student) but my reading and writing are preeeeetty bad. Can read much more than I can write, though. Kanjis are ok.. like elementary school level (haha).

I can only understand some simple japanese.. I can read, but dun understand much of it. I m doing self learnin, start learnin from Smap's lyrics book.. Check one by one from dictionary.. But i can only speak some, coz seldom make conversations.. :sweat:

With my parents, they would speak to me in Japanese and I would speak back to them in English. I think I was fluent in Japanese until I started kindergarden then it was English only for me. I really regret it. :bonk: I thought watching more Japanese shows would help but I only pick up things like maji de and yabai, heh. Being a SMAP fan really makes me want to learn more Japanese, though.
