Yea, for Astro, if it rains heavily, we cannot receive any signals.. That really mad.. :grumble:

Smap has been appearing in Kouhaku for more than 10 years since debuted. So, it's normal for them to perform in Kouhaku, plus it's a great honour to be invited to Kouhaku. In the past 1980's, Kouhaku has rating more than 80%, that's like almost the whole Japanese citizens are watching the show on new Year eve. Even my family knew about the show since last time, Kouhaku is a great event!!! But, the rating has been dropped in recent years, especially 2004 where Smap was absent in that show. But each time Smap appearance manage to pulled out the highest rating every year when they preform, like last year when they sang triangle the rating was more than 47%!!!! (In the past I think higher, like 54%) That's almost half of Japan population(about 60 million people) is watching Smap in Kouhaku!!!

So why go to Johnny's Countdown concert when they have millions of people sitting in front of the TV watching Smap?!! Plus, they don't have the time to go too, you might able to argue that why TOKIO can manage to go to the Johnny's Countdown but Smap won't go? TOKIO rushes to the Countdown after performing in Kouhaku(in the middle of the show). Kouhaku always put Smap performing at very last (near countdown to 12am), they save the best for last... So they can't simply rush to the Johnny's Countdown where it starts at about 11pm. Another reason, Smap won't go to any Johnny's related activities!!! Smap is already able to decide their jobs and concerts on their on, the Jimusho can't control them much anymore...

Seriously, if Smap is going to attend the Johnny's Countdown concert, all the tickets must be already grabbed by Smap fans before V6 or Kattun fans get to see their idols :hehe:

When I rewatch the Kouhaku last year, Nakai was standing beside Yamamoto Koji(MC) and he kept on talking nonstop before Rip Slyme performance. Yamamoto Koji hardly had the chance to say anything at all beside Nakai.... :mrgreen: (I was wondering why Nakai talked as if the show was his) It's hard to get Nakai stop talking in front of TV afterall....

smap the only johnny;s boy band, the moment they debut since 1990, they get invited by NHK to perform in kouhaku. To get the Kouhaku invitation wasn't that easily for a singer.

I've listen to the song the first time and I ust love it!!!^^

Ne, Kouhaku had the lowest rating in 2004, which Smap absents.. Last year, when they are present, when they sang Triangle, only for their part, the ratings is 50.1%, the highest among all..

In 2003 even higher, when they sang Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana, they got a rating of 57.1%..

So I think this year they can also surpass 50%.. Ganbare, I'll watch the whole show.. :victory:

I think they will also appear in the last one this year.. The best one is alwayz in the last one.. Just like Nakai kun says.. :mrgreen:
