soo.. i've been glued to my computer and tv for awhile now. watched SMAP's part in MSSL, all of kouhaku, sanma & smap, and the christmas SxS special.

my thoughts?
MSSL was funny - I loved Dear Woman when they were all just fooling around. Nakai, Goro, and Tsuyoshi seemed to be having fun..

Kouhaku was okay. There weren't that many great performances, but I was glad to see Nakai all the time. He changed quite often. And he wore shorts! What was up with that? I liked when all the members joined him at least once, except for Goku. Did you guys see when Goro joined him? Nakai kept touching him! Or did it just LOOK like it?

Sanma & SMAP wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Maybe this year's was just not that good. But I haven't ever seen it before so I had nothing to compare it to. Nakai's stuff kept making me laugh, though.

The Christmas SxS special was pretty funny. (Although I can't wait to watch the New Years special.) Haneru no tobira members were the guests for Bistro and they were all amazed at how much Kimura watched their show. And the fact that Suzuki (from Drunk Dragon) and Kimura are friends. I'm guessing that was a lie just for TV but I'm not totally sure..
Nakai's drama skit was of course, hilarious. I love those.
They performed Song of X'smap!

Okay, I'll stop. This is getting ridiculously long.

seriously?! I thought Nakai would've made it much higher. But then again, as I said before, there weren't that many good performances so he's not to blame. Plus, there were so many other good shows on at the same time so that's not Nakai's fault either.
He did a good job as MC, though. ^^ (Am I a little biased?)

Yes, Natsu, of coz Nakai kun is a good MC, if not then NHK wont find him to host this.. He did a great job, a big :applaud: for him..

All have to blame is the show is kinda boring.. They should change..

I also noticed that Nakai alwayz touched Goro chan.. He touched everyone, except Goku and Kimura kun.. He and Kimura kun's distance are quite far, hard for me to cap them.. :puppydog:

So if I pay $2,103.77 USD I can get SMAP to perform at my house? LOLZ. No really, this article Sure it's from Mainichi but it talks about how much the people who run the Kouhaku pay for it's talent to be on the show and it's just SAD. But still, figures like that make me laugh! HELL! I wonder if it's $2,103.00 for the group or for each member, because if it was for the group, that means it'd only cost me around 420.00 for private time with Goro!

amen sister! they pay enka singers more than smap? dude, they're the ones raking in the high ratings. nhk really is too old fashioned. no wonder the ratings are lousy lately. have you seen this year's kouhaku? 3/4 of the performances were old people and enka singers. really boring stuff. actually no, i think only 1/16 of the performances were worthwhile. what are they thinking? ok it's traditional, but it could be fresh and fun also. while watching the show i just thought, "what the hell am i doing watching this?"

Yea, this yr's Kouhaku is kinda boring.. If dun have Nakai kun in it, sure i'll sleep oredi.. Most of them are enkas.. So boring listening to that type of songs.. And one more thing, almost all the songs are slow songs.. Only the top two and Dj Ozma are fast ones.. :(
