Smappies

I want my ipod with even MORE SMAP, is that possible with all the singles, b-sides, covers, solo projects, live rips and full albums. YES, with the pop!up tour now ripped, it's just ripped and not tagged! That is where I'm lazy and never get around to it! BUT I have to share with you 4 of my most favorite tracks off the first disc. They are FULL rips and not the half rips you see floating around and are ripped at a rate of 226kbit! GOOD STUFF.

#1. Pop Up! THEME - http://www.sendspace.com/file/3f9ge4 DAMN, I love the what they did to the opening theme during the live concert! Brings back so MANY memories of greatness of fire, me and lydia being too damn cool and how we stayed standing, while all the NJ's sat down! Damn great track! I loved all the dancing in this bit.

#2. Tabun Alright - http://www.sendspace.com/file/64t1ni JESUS! When I was at the live and heard this song! My ear's just couldn't believe it! I was shocked and floored and YES, I knew the set list but didn't really expect SMAP to sing this song! This really was a great big JOY for me! Hearing this was unforgettable and I only wish it was longer!

#3.Song of X'SMAP - http://www.sendspace.com/file/e4k0pm ASDFGHJK! I wish I could be more cohorent but this performance and the song itself could easily be the best example of SMAP performing live, PERIOD. I've seen 100's if not at least a thousand of SMAP lives, tv apperances, concert fan video's and such on, that I can easily say this is such a winner! This track is everything SMAP is. I'm so utterly filled with pride when I see/hear this bit of the pop!up tour, it really doesn't get any better than this!

#4. SMAP melody: Lionheart (Goro) / Asahi wo Mi ni Ikoyo (Tsuyoshi) / Yozora no Mukou (Nakai) / Orenji (Kimura) / Triangle iShingojhttp://www.sendspace.com/file/mojvwn Each SMAP members picks their most favorite track and sings the best part of said track. With a wide variety of choices, this is easily one of the highlights of the tour. They did me good. Esp. Goro, that man never lets me down!

LOL. That Pie-Lot part was funny. Not only during the game. Before the game started, when Rinka came out and announced when her photo book was on sale. She goes, "My photo book will start selling on [whatever date]."

DISBANDING.... DISBANDING... DISBANDING...

That's all I read in the last 30 pages I missed...haha! It must be a relief for all of us now, that Kimura-kun had already cleared up the stupid rumours. I really feel sorry for him having to clear up those baka rumours... Imagine if you're HIM, you're just working as always, having your peaceful life and work...suddenly you read disbanding rumours abt your group, won't you feel, "What's this? So stupid...its not even worth enough to be cleared up!!". That's what I'd think if I were him... But he cleared it up, anyway^^

Me and my Smappy friends discussed about this, while we were watching Kouhaku. Then, it reminded me of some past articles I've read long ago. I'm very sorry that I already lost the sources for these old articles. I randomly saved all in one Word file.

I think the other members have also been asked before, often people asked me, "Though it will be nice if you continue as SMAP down the road, but have you ever thought of trying it out alone?". When someone tells me, "You will be great if you go solo!", I will definitely feel thankful, but at these kind of times i will always think, "That's because you do not understand the power of the group!". We ourselves understand, there's a kind of energy that exists only when SMAP, this group is together.

When whoever among the members' birthday is coming, I will naturally think about what present to give... No matter what, they are a group of fellows whom I wish will stay by my side...

If there is no SMAP, the person who is the saddest will definitely be me.
Maybe everybody does not know, but I really like SMAP! All this while, there will be rumors about our relationship with one another not good, we like to antagonize one another, what do they know? (laughs)
Even though we hardly chatted, met, even though we quarrelled before, I still like SMAP the best! Other people may unable to understand this kind of feeling. If one day, there is no SMAP, I will definitely be the person who is the most upset and sad. I will hence lose my direction in life. (laughs)

I truly believe that if all members of SMAP get together, it can be said that (we're) invincible. On the other hand, if I am doing it alone, feelings of insecurity will result in me wanting to do the job better. After some hard work, when I return to SMAP, i will heave a sigh of relief.

Till now, half of my life I've spent it in SMAP, I feel that this kind of life is really great. Together for 1 year, 2 years........before i realize it, I have been in SMAP for so long. Just thinking of this makes me very happy.
Each time, after the concerts have ended, during the get-togethers, everyone will come together and discuss about the concerts. Especially passionate about this is Nakai Masahiro, once when he was drunk he said [I love SMAP!] and he will shout loudly [Kimura, listen carefully, your solo was really.......kakkoi!!]
Kimura-kun shouted loudly back at Nakai-kun in reply. Most of the time I am the one coaxing the drunk Nakai-kun to sleep, every time Goro-chan sees this scene he will laugh loudly at me.

In these articles, we can easily see how much they love and need the other members. Even the individually powerful Kimura Takuya said, he needs the power of the group.

So, will they ever be disbanded? No one knows the answer. I, myself, once thought that it is impossible for them to disband, since they have been together for so long. But then, a Smappy friend once told me about a Cantonese rock band...they were together for 20-something years...people thought they will never be disbanded. But, one day, the leader of the band died. The other members went on with their activities, for a few years, but they've kinda lost directions without their leader. So they gradually fell apart and disbanded.

I'm SO NOT saying this will happen to SMAP!! God, no! I'm just trying to say, that no one knows the future.

Kimura once said also, "We never plan to disband, but we also never plan NOT to disband.". What he was trying to say is that SMAP never think much about disbanding or not, they will just keep doing SMAP, as long as they still want to, as long as they can, and as long as the fans support them. But that doesn't mean, it's impossible for them to disband, because they'll never know about the future.

IMHO, the time when SMAP disbanded is NOT because they want to. But it must because a situation, a condition, that forced them to separate. Like there's no other way...and the best choice for them, is to disband. Whatever the reason is, it must be a VERY GOOD reason. And us, the fans, would not be disappointed with the decision, because that would be the best decision.

In these time around, when everything seems normal. I don't see why they need to disband. So any kind of rumours about that, must be FALSE!!

Knowing that they themselves love each other, and loving the group, is MORE THAN ENOUGH, for me. I'm very happy with that fact already ^_^

Let me share with you all my most favorite SMAP story!!

It was during the MIJ tour, Nakai told this story on his radio programme, Some Girl's SMAP. After the concert, all five went to eat and had alot of drinks, of course, alcohol. Out of the five, like always, Tsuyoshi was the worst one. He was soooo drunk badly. Shingo was really high, and also Nakai. Tsuyoshi forced Nakai to drink all different kinds of alcohol. And Nakai said, if he mix his drinks like that, he'll pass out fast.

Then they were all going back to the hotel. All five were in the car together, which is quite rare. Usually they divided into 2 or 3 cars, but this time, they were all in 1 car...haha...they must be very drunk, they don't want to separate!^^

They had a driver bringing them home. It was a big van type so there are 3 seats. Nakai was sitting in the very front seat. Shingo was in the middle seat. Tsuyoshi, Goro and Kimura were in the far back seat.

Nakai said they were talking about, whether about Tsuyoshi, or the video of the show...he didn't remember much. Right when Nakai said, "Tsuyoshi! It's weird when you do this!". BANG!! Someone punched him on the head! At first, Nakai thought it was just from doing all that pro wrestler move all night, but then he realized one of the member actually just punched him.

Nakai demanded to know who it was, "Who was it?? Tell me! Who just punched me??!". But the four all went, "Not me! It wasn't me!".
Nakai was quite sure it's Tsuyoshi, though. And he was thinking, "This is really not funny! My ear really hurts!!". He felt his brain really rattled, his head was punched really hard. He asked again, "What's going on here? Someone just punched me, I know that!! Who was it??!".

They all replied, "What are you saying? No way. Why would anyone want to punch Nakai-kun? You must be imagining it,". So then he went quiet, he thought maybe he WAS imagining it. But then....BANG!! He got punched again!

Nakai was very sure it's Tsuyoshi, coz he wears a ring. Haha...but I thought, Kimura and Shingo wears ones too??^^ Nakai said, both times he hit him and that ring caught right behind his ear. For the first time, in 16 years, he said he has a bump that is swollen up behind his ear!

They arrived at the hotel and of course, it was a nice, luxurious hotel. And there were some important hotel staff waiting there for them when they returned. The hotel manager was there in suits and tie. That's all Nakai can remember. Suddenly, someone poured water all over him, right before his eyes! But he can't remember who it was!

The next day, Nakai met Tsuyoshi and he yelled at him, telling him how it hurt badly. And Tsuyoshi said, "You hit me too! You were also very drunk! Look at me, I have cuts all over my knees!". Nakai said, he really don't remember anything, he don't remember hitting Tsuyoshi at all.

Then suddenly, their manageress, Iijima Michi-san called Nakai. She looked really angry. She scolded Nakai, "Even when you are drunk there is a limit to what you can do, things you can and cannot do, you should know that!!!!".

Apparently, it was Nakai who poured water on to the hotel manager's head!! At first, he thought, it couldn't be him! So he told her, "No, it wasn't me, maybe it was Tsuyoshi," but then she got even more angry and said everyone said it was him, so she told him he must go and apologize personally.

"God, it has been so long since I have been in trouble like that, since I have been scolded by the manager like that. She was so angry, 'This month you will be 31 years old, don't you know right from wrong yet!'. So when she told me to go apologize I just meekly said, OK. Then she told me I wasn't allowed to drink for the rest of that day. But well, I have to drink so I said, no I think I will drink......but I promise to do it carefully..."

Then the next day, in the elevator Nakai met that hotel manager, so he apologized, "Oh, I am so sorry about what happened the other night, it seems, well it seems that you got water poured over your head, I really do apologize,". The hotel manager went, "Oh no problem, next time you are in the area please stay at this hotel again...". But Nakai was sure he was really angry.

LOL! Iijima-san must be scarier than Nakai. Nakai demanded to know who punched him, but they all protected Tsuyoshi! But when Iijima-san demanded to know who poured water to the hotel manager, they all went, "It was Nakai! Nakai! Nakai!". Mwahahaha....!!!

They never grow up, don't they! Imagine the 31 year-old Nakai being scolded like a 10 year old boy!! haha!

I think my younger brother is really great, because the term "Shingo Katori's brother" has brought him a lot of stress and trouble. But he did not even have a word of complaint. So if there is anything that he wants to do, i will definitely try my best to help him.

Shingo's brother, feels passionately about going America to learn dancing. Though their parents are a little worried, Shingo said, "If my parents allow him to go to New York, but they do not wish to pay for the courses then I will pay for him!". Because Shingo feels that, being referred to Shingo's Katori's brother all the time must have brought his brother a lot of stress and troubles yet his brother bore it all without any word of complaint hence Shingo feels that his brother is really something else and will try his best to help him.
Shingo's father has always adopted an attitude of [Do what you want to do] towards his kids. He leaves the decision-making to his children.
