Yeah, since they're Johnnys magazines, I was expecting them to be pretty expensive (Johnny knows how much fangirls will spend on magazines. Grr.) but I'm not so sure about the TV ones either.

TV mags(Guide, Pia, Za Terebi, etc) are quite cheap, around 300-400yen. You'd want to buy them all, trust me!! Coz you just have to give out coins! LOL! For POPOLO, ANAN, and those type of mags...are more expensive, probably around 700-800yen.

Yea, those Johnnys are alwayz wanna earn more on fangirls,,, but luckily now those magaz dun have much pics of them (as compared with early 90's, itz consider less).. If not, I think most of the smappies will really run BROKE... :puppydog: The tv ones are quite cheap, if not mistaken.. :rofl:

Yeah, the TV ones are cheaper than I thought. Heck, even the Johnnys ones were cheaper than I expected.

To make a long story short, when I was in Japan, I obtained one of my magazines by taking someone's trash. :sweat:
You guys can interpret that anyway you want, but that's basically what I did. That's the gist of it.

Feb Popolo is 530 yen, last month was 520. Feb Myojo is 600 yen, Jan was 580 yen. Wink Up is 550. Funny how magazine prices change by 10-20 yen every month.

I broke down and got a subscription to some of them but shipping costs/fees more than double the price :bleh: I'm gonna have to cancel and just pick up a copy whenever I'm in San Jose or San Francisco.

Maybe I should stop looking at them altogether. Some of the Johnny Jrs. in the magazines are babies. Makes me feel so old, heh.

Yes, Popolo is much expensive than TV guide...TV guide cost around S$5.90 but Popolo cost S$13++...I only bought popolo once when the inside feature SMAP's 15th Anniversary photo inside...last month TV guide was also more expensive than the usual price...but thicker too cos it's the last month of the year...
