Can I ask something?? Is Goro a very flirt guy? I think I read about this somewhere in my local magazine before...but is it true??

anyway... my local magazine featured smap as the most popular boy band in japan!!! :woot: :woot: yay!!! :victory:
there was a big picture of smap.. but it was an old picture.. probably 4 years back =X

i think he wore lip stick.. its very normal for them to wear lippie.. in fact.. i think most of the time male artistes had to wear lipstick.. it depends on the amount they apply.. if they dont.. they would look very dull..

Almost 1/4 of the year TV magazines cover are with SMAP or other members... Coz they are popular,, ppl alwayz like to see them,, and this increase those maga sales also ne~~~ :mrgreen:

hello everyone! :D i'm relatively new in the online smap scene but i do watch their shows/concerts and stuff. anyway just wanna add on to the discussion here..

which member do you think is absolutely indispensable to SMAP? in other words, if this particular member drops out, the group would lose its popularitly drastically?

being a kimura fan, i would have to say it's kimura. :mrgreen: somehow i think that while smapxsmap will still be able to function without him, smap concerts would flop with his absence. anyway a lot of people got into smap because of him. smap can't reeeaaalllly sing (oh please don't kill me!) and they are not terribly kakkoii so kimura's dorama fans definitely forms a big percentage of initial smap fans. not that i think kimura sings well though...

nakai is just as important. it would be so different without him but i think he has to thank kimura for launching his career in the earlier days. however i don't really like the notion of him being a bad singer and yet being in a band, though i know smap is more of an ENTERTAINMENT group than a singing one. personal opinion :nut:

although goro does seem to be the least favourite member of smap, i like goro's voice alot!!!!!! :good: there was one smapxsmap ending song with ken hirai and i absolutely loved goro in it!! he's definitely the best singer in smap. other than that, i think he is adorable on smapxsmap (he is very self-depracating) but i guess not his real life persona.

tsuyoshi. somehow i am not drawn to him as much as i am to the other members. i think he lacks an x-factor but i have to say his soft-spoken and gentle nature does grow on you. his presence does have a rather calming effect and i love the pairing of him and shingo. there was a utaban episode where they sang a karaoke duet and that was when it hit me how cute they are/look together! his acting is superb! :thumbsup: although, as i have said, it still does not draw me into liking him tremendously.

shingo's facial expressions are GENIUS :nut: but why is it that his acting is not that good? (personal opinion!) i love the oishii moments in bistro smap! i like shingo's singing, think it's pretty good although he thinks it's just average. also, i think his idol-worship of kimura is endearing! :P other than that, the absence of shingo would make smap seem older! haha

I learn Japanese from one of my workmate who take up Japanese lessons.. :hehe: Sometimes I also watch the kids shows in NHK,, their talks are more simple and can learn from those also.. :mrgreen:

I alwayz keep thinking.. if I go Japan one day and I meet one of the SMAP members,,, what will I do??? I totally cant imagine that.. :hehe:

Tokyo is small??? :crazy: I heard b4 that we can meet most of the superstars near Shibuya... :woot:

Every member is important to SMAP,, SMAP is not SMAP without a member,, remember Goro's incident?? Itz weird without him,,, we cant say only a member would make SMAP popularity increase.. hehe,, personal opinion.. :mrgreen:
