Yup, he has facial hair on it. I usually don't like him with facial hair but he looks very good on the uchiwa...gives him more of a rock n' roll look.

Quick question: Does anyone know what magazine has a section called "Clair Obsur" and also "SMAP Street". I'm pretty sure they're two different mags, just don't know which ones.

ooh everybody, while i still have time, i want to ask you guys a question. what were your first impressions of each smap member?

kimura takuya - he was the first one i was exposed to through his drama pride. while watching the first episode i kinda went "eh? nobody i know" omg, i was VERY new to dramas at that time. but then as i saw him i thought "ok, he's kinda older (i did not like older men at that point yet and was totally in love with matsujun) but ii janai?!" and then as i kept on watching i just thought "ok he's old, but freaking hot and that smile! sometimes he looks young!"

nakai masahiro - i was exposed to him through the mij concert and i had downloaded it to see more takuya. i thought "why is he the only one wearing a hat? balding? :rofl: i don't like him, his voice is too squeaky and he talks way too much"

inagaki goro - WHO IS THAT!!! he is so handsome! i literally sat up from my chair when i saw him in the mij concert singing touch me kiss me.

kusanagi tsuyoshi - this will make you laugh. i thought he was the leader!! i thought this because he looked really old back then with his long hair and i had seen him before in food fight but had no idea he was in smap. i thought "this must be the oldest one so he must be the leader"

katori shingo - i actually first saw him in shinsengumi without knowing he was in smap. when i saw him in the intro for mij i thought "no way, IS that him? hmm i should find out" my impression of him from shinsengumi was "he's not very good looking but sometimes i can see that special something in him"

i know this sounds sorta weird but i love flaunting how badly i thought of them initially. then i can tell them how amazing they are that they have converted me into a diehard fan. ESPECIALLY NAKAI. honestly, i really really hated him. everytime he talked it was always "oh god, get that squeaky man off the screen. his teeth are way too straight to be natural. i wanna see the good looking one, yes goro." but now, i am hopelessly in love with him. what is wrong with me?? :hehe:

:rofl: I know...I think my initial hatred of SMAP came from the fact that I hated American boybands even though I was a die-hard New Kids on the Block fan back in the day. (What? I was 9 years old, it couldn't be helped :hehe: ) Anyway, I still didn't like US boybands in the 90s but I noticed how hard they must work training and dancing, especially compared to NKOTB who just pretty much sucked at everything.

My SMAP fandom is really strange though. I'm gonna be 30 soon enough. Shouldn't I have outgrown them? Haha. Also, I was eventually drawn to them because of my love of comedy....weird, huh? It wasn't Goro-chan's looks that made me become SMAP baka, it was the fact that they could make me laugh so much and the fact that they work so hard. I used to think that Japanese entertainers were lazy because well I tend to think Japanese people are lazy (I mean...we can be). But the number of hours that they work...variety, drama, dancing, singing, cooking, etc. and they can do it at a much faster pace than US entertainers can plus they start when they're babies. It's insane. I have much respect for Japanese geirojins' work ethic now.

Really though, isn't it impossible not to love SMAP once you give them a chance.

hey Rina.. i just back from Kino.. after my morning lesson i quickly rush to kino and buy the Takuya mag... the anan one is worth to buy... u wont regret one...it still left some more, if u going down later i think u k manage to grab one too.. actually only TV Guide, TV Life, TV Pia and anan with Takuya on cover... think need to wait til friday the television come out.. heehee

omg i'm really going backwards. most smappies start going towards the younger groups but me, i started with the younger groups but am now stuck with smap. i think i like them older now haha. the power of smap can change a person quite a lot.

and also today the local paper report that goro will be marry with miho soon this coming August.. and Johnny had agreed to allow goro to get marry.. this after 6 years Takuya get married and Goro is the second one.. if true.. need to congrats Goro.. :woot:
