Ahhhhh!!!!! I love takoyaki. Whenever I go to Japan I usually eat takoyaki once a day, haha. My step-mom used to make it for me in the US but it just didn't taste the same. I've only been able to find takoyaki in Los Angeles and San Jose but it doesn't compare to fresh takoyaki from takoyaki stand in Japan  Have you ever had okonomiyaki? It's so good. I think it's the same batter as takoyaki so you would have no problems making it. There's no such thing as too much when it comes to Japanese food, haha.
Okonomiyaki? What is that? Looks like Takoyaki too??
Ya, it depends..
But the worst one,,, is definetely Nakai-kun... :grumble:

That's hard, it depends on what kind of food. I think Shingo is best at desserts, but Takuya is really good at any type of main dish.

Talking about the free big poster of SMAP makes me feel pissed off again...HMV got reallt serious customer service problem...they folded my poster up...%#@*&$%...heehee...CD Japan took the trouble to pack in bigger box but they just folded the poster up...In the end I went to auction and bought another same poster which was in nice conditions. So the folded one was stick on the wall of my room now...heehee...

No it looks more like a pancake. There are a lot of variations of it but it's pretty much the same batter as takoyaki with a whole bunch of different ingredients in it. All kinds of meat, seafood, veggies, yakisoba....you can put anything you want in it really. Did you see BusuKoi? Goro-chan and Ebi-chan went to an okonomiyaki place on one of their dates.

Yes, I did watch that drama but I can't remember them eating this dish... but I think I know which dish you are refering to :)
I am so so interested in Japanese dish...I even tried to make Yakitori last time but that was a total failure...so I gave up on that...
