On FNS 2000, when he just got married, the hosts congratulated him, "Kimura-san, congratulation on your marriage!! How do you feel now?". Naturally, people would want answers like, "I'm very happy!" or "My life is complete now!".
But...he didn't answer the hosts at all, and just stated what he feels abt the weather, which is, "SAMUI(it's cold) desu!!".

I'm not implying anything....just disclosing facts ^__________^

as for takuya never talking about his marriage... i don't find that too weird with johnnys. actually, i don't find that weird with japanese media at all. Especially if you're an idol. idols usually don't talk about their marriage and if they're dating anyone, it's most likely not ever spoken about. image is such a big thing with Japanese celebrities and their companies. it's almost to a ridiculous level. it's totally different from the states. one bad press and someone's career can be over. thankfully, goro chan made it through his bad press, even though it didn't have anything to do with girls.

Well...it was a shotgun wedding :hehe: I will say this though, the fact that Takuya and Shizuka have been married for more than a few years is a good sign that they won't be divorcing anytime soon. It seems like everyday celeb couples in Japan get married because of unplanned pregnancy and end up divorcing after only a year or two. (It's just strange to me that in this day and age pregnancy = marriage but that's a whole nother topic.) Plus it would be too difficult on the children. If Takuya and Shizuka even wanted to divorce now I'm guessing they would wait until their girls were a little older.

Well, at least she is LUCKY coz takuya decided to marry her when she got "instant pregnant"..Other celeb would think twice to marry their couple if the same way happen.

That article also state about Ryoko Hirosue divorce news. I'm feel dissapointed reading about it

hmmm weird because i never heard him talk bout kaorin either.... just what had been mentioned in tabloids. but i never heard him ever say anything about her but of course there was plenty of things i haven't read or seen before 1996

and yes, ...kimura may not care what others may think of him too much. however, japanese talent agencies are VERY strict about image. and johnnys really is not keen about their talents talking about their relationships openly... kimura's was a shotgun marriage as mentioned. But, I think they're doing okay since they've been together for a while. but of course, anything is possible.

No, not in Japan. Honestly, I'm shocked when a Japanese celebrity female isn't pregnant when she marries. Hirosue Ryoko was pregnant when she got married, too. Seriously, that's the norm.
