i bought it for $2,099 4 years ago, i actually wanted to sell it for $500, (im guessing..not knowing about the price range) but my cousin suggested i should sell it for $250 and compared to newer sales right now theres lots of laptops with higher specs that sells less than $400. idk if hes right cuz im having 2nd thoughts of selling this if its only $250 @____@ thats why i need anyone's opinion
I think your cousin is right, you'll probably be able to sell it around that range, 300 if you get lucky, any higher than that and people would prefer buying a new notebook, since there are notebooks out there that sell for $400, especially during promos. Everything in your specs comes pretty standard with the newer models that come out, so that qouldn't be much of a plus to add to the resale value. I guess it's inevitable, technology develops so fast. Personal experience, I bought a PIII desktop before, then 1 week after, the P4 was released. I should've checked first before I bought the darn thing. Well, that's my take on that... Makes me wonder how much I can get for my laptop that I bought last year, if I sell it a few years from now...
its coo, actually i had a final thought. id rather get rid of this cuz this laptop brings me a lot of pain and suffering :tired: id be glad to get rid of this now that i have a macbook haha
so far, someone wanted to buy it for $200 so i think im just gonna sell it to him, better than nothing. eh? now if it was a mac, it woulda been a higher price but yeh thanks for being honest :victory:
I offer $201! :hehe: if you lived closer I'd have look at your notebook, I wanted one for my sis.
but yeah, computerhardware loses it's value fast. if you don't plan to resell within 1 year, it becomes pretty hard to sell for a decent price after some more years.
thanks for your input, i think im just gonna go with the flow, theres this one email he wanted to buy it for $200, he probably thinks im desperate =T while the other is ok to pay the full price

yeah technology is very annoying in that sense!
well given your realistic appraisal of the situation...it seems you'll be able to find a buyer to satisfy your expectations.
Little help here guys: I had a customer call in and he said his DSL is "discombobulated" From what I could tell by talking to him and checking some things, I think his modem has packed up, but I was curious, has anybody here ever been "discombobulated"???
