The ISOBuster app was downloaded and installed. So the huge torrent was started in the hopes that it can be done. But the torrent is moving rather slowly. ETA about 8 days :beaten:

Will see if it works then.

Thanks again!

Oh, wait... You needn't use ISObuster on an existing ISO file: it's only to rip the ISO file off of the disc...

If you already have the ISO file, you just need to run Daemon Tools on that ISO file to emulate a removable disc and rip the AVI/MPEG/etc. contents...

Sorry, if I misled you...

Some of the tools were downloaded. But the actual ISO file is still being downloaded. The swarm has sped up to about 20kB/s, but at 6.6GB the ETA is still 3 days away. :beaten:

It'll be interesting to see if it work. Kind of curious as to how the ISO was made. It must've come from 2 different DVD's with 2 sets of .vob's and .ifo's

Thanks for the software recommendations. Will let you know how it turns out. This one might be better suited for B&P trading than BT'ing.

Oh, man...!

I thought you had downloaded it already...

If it's a single ISO, it must be from a dual-layer DVD-9 disc...

Thanks for the software recommendations. Will let you know how it turns out. This one might be better suited for B&P trading than BT'ing.

Hope it works out for ya, else that long and tedious download will all be for naught...

Sony will stop marketing their monitors at the end of this year, a Sony spokesman told Heise online. Don't worry, that beloved line of monitors isn't completely gone, some Sony monitors will still be available to specialized dealers, but that service will also be on the chopping block, depending on sales.

Pardon my radical opinion, but is this a sign of Sony trying to prepare their electronics division for a possible PS3 flop? Sony was the 10th largest manufacturer of monitors last year, so canning the division seems strange

I don't think it's unusual of them to pull out of the monitors business. Since a few years when LCD monitors started becoming mainstream I haven't seen anyone buying Sony anymore (this was different with CRT mons)

i see.....i'm not as current with the financial/marketing decisions of some of these electronic firms. it's good to hear differing perspectives in order to learn new stuff.

i have a sony LCD at home...it's a few years old.

If you ever want to experience that, try going to http://www.getfido.com They have a lot of (low quality) anime eps for download - but anything you click triggers a mass of pop-up windows, as bad as any i've ever seen.

Sounds like spywares.

Download Spybot Search and Destroy here. M$ also has a tool call Defender (Beta). here

Both are free. :)
