GGAAAAHHH!!!!!!

My laptop just got the same problem my desktop had a while back.

The icons on the desktop are shown when the it starts up and then disappears out of site. The start menu doesn't show up when scrolling the mouse down to the bottom of the screen.

Only way to get to folders and all that is pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL.

AVG or whatever too......

Its completely whacky and I don't want to spend the time running those prg to check.

I was to have everything saved and then my stepdad was going to make backup of the thing.

All my important stuff on my brother's computer, so I'll just put it back on my laptop after the Vaio Recovery prg finishes up restoring my laptop to how it was when I first got it.

Hmm, my Pioneer 8X burner must be heading south: I'm starting to get some bad burns at 8X that weren't happening before... :sweat:

Now I have to burn at 6X to get reliable, consistent burns.

All this talk is getting nervous. Whatever happened to Optorite? Got 2000+ burns and it's still going good. Went to look and Optorite is not at the big outlets any more and their website is gone.

Optorite + Taiyo Yuden + CaseLogic = Ability to reseed in the distant future :thumbsup:
