Is it good to buy a Desktop Computer at Dell??? My father wants to buy there cuz he has a discount xD
I had to fix one a few weeks back. (a guy I know)
Dell has their own motherboard, so it's a big no-no for me, but the rest of the computer seems fine. I'd prefer HP over Dell, but if it's cheap it shouldn't be so bad. :)

Probably true.
So it turns out that using a cellphone for extended periods of time can totally destroy your sperm count, lads. A recent study carried out by researchers in the U.S. and doctors in India found that using a cellphone for more than four hours per day both reduces sperm count and ravages what sperm you have left, leaving the little guys all but useless. The findings could be chalked up to all that lovely radiation coming out of cellphones, with the eyes, breasts and testicles being most likely to absorb those wacky waves. Oh, and texting is just as bad, too, apparently.
So if you have no interest in ever having children, tough guy, keep yapping away on that cellphone. Don't worry, you would've made a bad father anyway. – Nicholas Deleon

Zetabyte ZBox: Backup Drive Beams Data to the Heavens
Zetabyte's Zbox isn't just a networked storage device. Every bit you put on the drive gets uploaded to Amazon's S3 storage cloud. So, if an earthquake, tornado, flood, or any other natural or unnatural disaster takes out your pad, your stuff is safe and sound over at Amazon's batcave. The hardware doesn't cost anything. Come again?
Ya, that's because you'll be paying about a buck per gigabyte every month for the privilege of online data mirroring. It costs $50 for 30 GB, and plans scale to about $300 for 690GB. The boxes themselves run power PC processors, have 128 MB of RAM, and check for software updates every hour.

Yup, chalk it up to those darned microwaves... I think it was affecting police officers who used laser-driven speed guns as well...

Ouch.
I did notice that your voice is a bit high in pitch. :beaten: :hehe:
A word of warning to anyone considering getting the "snip" - get it done under general anaesthetic, not local :nut:
Or just use your cell phone a lot.

Here's some weird sh*t.....
I tried downloading a torrent yesterday, only to find that the company firewall is blocking the port, so no downloading of torrents for me. Oh well.
Today when I went to delete the folder for the torrent, the actual folder was showing a size of 733MB........ wtf?
There was 2 files inside, one of them was 0 bytes but the other (avi) was also 733MB But it wouldn't play :(

I think the torrent always allocates the space before it begins downloading.

yes, it's like a place holder and then the pieces of data get filled in as downloaded.
Uh, this discussion should be in the BT thread.... ;)
Sorry b-san... It was more a space-on-computer thing than a bt thing. I have never had that before, usually non-started torrents are zero-sized.
