Just wondering if it's any good, since they give you 1GB of free storage... Though I don't know if you can hotlink the pics...

It's good for organizing photos on your pc, but if you are looking to host your photos online, maybe you can try flickr or photobucket, probably more user friendly.

^ Thanks for the feed back.... I guess I'll stick with Photobucket. :)

I've just done the stupidest thing to one of the most important folders in my harddisk. I thought I had a double folder so I deleted and emptied the recycle bin.

is there a way to restore the deleted file/folder from the recycle bin? help please :puppydog:

First of all, don't save anything else to disc: you might overwrite the data in the area you're trying to recover... It's probably best to not use the computer at all until you've recovered the data.

The best thing to do is access a second computer (if possible) and Google for a (free) software program to help recover the deleted data...

These might help:

You can try this software, I read that it's good.

^ I would've suggested that as well, but the software isn't free.

Does anyone really know what QWord is? :usuck: It's a search engine but it keeps popping up for me, couldn't log on to the internet earlier because QWord :usuck: kept coming up and saying it couldn't find the internet, had to restart my computer and it's been okay since, but it's such an irritating problem, :beatyou: can be on any site, click on whatever and it comes up saying it couldn't find the thread or play a video etc, even had it pop up here clicking on a thread. It's not on my search engine so I don't why it keeps coming up or how to get rid of it, anyone else have a problem with this or know how to fix it? :puppydog:

Hmmm...First time I've heard about Qword. Googled Qword and it looks likes it's some kind of malware. Have you run an antivirus scan? If that doesn't work, maybe do a system restore on a date before it started happening.
26 Jul 2010, 08:44 #5571
^ Yeah, I'd run a antivirus scan and a scan using SuperAntiSpyware (free) as well.

^^ Thanks both of you :victory: , installed the Super spyware and ran it. Took 85 minutes, hopefully it'll be gone, need to restart before they're deleted completely, burning a DVD right now so I can't, hopefully tomorrow then it'll be back to 100%, :fingerscrossed: thanks again for the help.

Didn't notice the program listed but perhaps it was under another name. The site where it popped up the most was in VEOH, it would take 3 or 4 clicks on the video until QWord would stop appearing and the video would play. :bleh: Just went there now and played a couple videos with no problem, hoping it'll continue to be like that. :fingerscrossed:

Yeah, it appears to be gone, :victory: always defaulted as one the of the search providers, now it's gone. Think I got it when I downloaded a YT video downloader which worked like crap, think it may have been then. Speaking of that, what's a good program to download YT videos?

If you're using Firefox, I'd recommend the DownloadHelper add-on... Works like a charm. :victory:

Sigh, don't have Firefox, tried installing it anyways but Windows wouldn't install it, :shamefulcry: I'll keep looking. Had used 2 web sites in the past to download videos, both worked great but now both sites are no longer active. :usuck:

keepvid.com works fine; it gives options for dl (flv, .mp4, 3GP). :victory:

and yeah, odd that you couldn't install Firefox.
