The SC Yamapi recorded on 1/18 will be on air on 2/4 and 2/11. But I am not sure if they'll put Yamapi's part in only 2/11 episode or will split into two episode. B/c they record 2 episodes in 1 nite, the repo I read didn't say the order of each performance NHK will play on TV......

Have you guys heard about the news? Yamapi and Nagasawa Masami will lead a new dorama in Spring for Fuji TV Station at the Monday 9pm time (the best showtime of that TV channel). The script will very possibly be based on a girl's manga.

It's not confirmed yet but it's possible that Toda Erika will be part of the drama........I like her, too, more than Masami. It'd be great if she and Yamapi pair up as leading casts. But guess it's not time for her to be #1 female main character in the dorama yet?

Yeah, the new dramas aren't confirmed yet. There's also rumor of a new Tesshi drama. Yay. :D But we'll have to wait and see.

@ dymmamie: Taipi? Maybe Taisuke from Kisumai? I'm not sure who the person who wrote the post meant, cuz I didn't know that Yamapi wrote the song for anyone...

So happy~~Yamapi is going to be a guest on 2/17 & 2/19 Shounen Club Premium!! Will interview him alone, and then NewS will sing (probably new song) in the programme. I can't wait to see this show!! Although I am looking forward to his Feb Shounen Club as well, I am even more interested in this Shounen Club Premium b/c I wanna see him talk more about himself, instead of just sing and play games in SC......

was reading about Koyama's radio show (with Shige as a guest), and they were talking about dialects in universities. Heck, I couldn't even master the Japanese language - i'd be :beaten: if i had to learn dialects pula.

just a thought. i watched the NEWS in Taiwan thingy on VEOH, where they visited Taiwan several years ago. OMG, Shige was such a school boy....with the hair and the baby face....and baby Tego....even Massu looked like he was 17. err...WAS he 17? Yamapi looked young - and skinnier....he looks so much 'macho-er' now.

I know it's old news (pun intended), but was just wondering though....wonder what it's like for the rest of the gang when the Taiwanese fans made the letter "P" out of those long balloons - they tie these balloons together in the shape of the letter "P".

i know they are all good sports and every one of them has their own fans, but ....well, if I were there....i'd be sporting a huge balloon with ONE NAME ONLY (no, it's not shige - that'd be on a smaller balloon : medium sized :metaldevil: ). the HUGE BALLOON WOULD HAVE "NEWS" on it.....

There were fans holding up other artists' names, too, like Uchi. And even for ya-ya-yah member, not only Yamapi's name.......And it was just 2 weeks after NewS was formed when they went to Taiwan, it's just normal that not so many ppl actually love the whole team yet, but instead still only liking individual members. They merely know anything about the team yet. NewS was TOOOOOOOOOOOOO new to the Taiwanese.

Well, as everyone knows, I am just an old 'makcik' / aunty....(name given by Monta), hence I am not very good with all the technical wizardry stuff. I normally just google for "Shige J-Web" and out pops a list of stuff (translations) of his j-web and what i do is i scroll down and choose one entry. So un-techno, i know.

As a member of NewS, Shige is considered as the "genius" because of his brilliant ideas and intelligent remarks. He has been quoted by other members in NewS as "calm and thinks before he acts".

His other lesser known roles are "the 2nd fashion leader" (by Massu), "Good music composer" (By Teshi) and ......."Member of NewS that most resembles a bunny" (by everyone <3) :rofl:

Aside from being "the smart one" (He studies law), Shige is also a good guitarist, singer and music composer. He has composed several songs, which include "Happy Music", "Road", "Just Do it!" and "Over..." (which he composed and sang by Teshi "

Haha, yes, I really love Yamapi very very much.......but no, I am not hurt by your words, heard lots of more bad things about him from other fans, yours isn't bad at all compare to them, so no I am not mad at all. BTW, correction, it was 3 weeks after NewS formed when they went to Taiwan, not 2.........

Your school friends must also love Yamapi as much as you do? My colleagues rather scoff at me, considering they think "NEWS" is made up of 'little fishes' - they are used to the bigger, OLDER, more muscular men in Korean dramas (Kwong Sang Woo - another hottie).

The name is Akihabara@Deep. You can dl English sub version on Love Song Forum. I just finished ep1.........kinda weird ne.......I think I'll try couple more episodes and hope it gets better later. And for the name of Yamapi's old drama......did you look up in his profile in this site? It lists all of his dorama.

No, only 1 of my friend loves Yamapi, but not as crazy as I am..........^^;; Most of my friends prefer older, more mature JP men, like Gackt and Takki.......but none of us interested in any Korean actors/singers.
