Hirosue, Nagai end relationship

The rumored relationship between Ryoko Hirosue (29) and Masaru Nagai (32) has apparently come to an end. According to Sports Hochi, they recently split due to their busy schedules.

The romance was first reported in February 2009 when the magazine FRIDAY spotted the two on a date. It developed into a serious relationship by autumn, but around the start of this year, their busy careers prevented them from meeting often. As their separation continued, they eventually decided to break off the relationship.

Neither Hirosue's nor Nagai's agency has ever confirmed the relationship, though various reports from last year and early this year suggested that the two were getting close to marriage.

As reported Ryoko Hirosue will be starring in a 24H NTV Drama Special. It is called "Miporin no Ekubo" and it will air on 28 August.

Here is the synopsis:

Miporin no Ekubo

Cast: Hirosue Ryoko, Nagase Tomoya, Fukuda Mayuko, Kimura Manatsu, Tanaka Misako
Synopsis: 13-year-old Okazaki Miho (Kimura Manatsu), a first-year student in junior high, has four members in her family. Her mother Riko (Hirosue Ryoko), father Teruo (Nagase Tomoya) and older sister, Minami (Fukuda Mayuko). However, on the day of the school entrance ceremony, Miho experiences a sudden headache in the classroom and vomits. It is learnt from the outcome of her surgery that she has a malignant brain tumour c Even if she is successfully treated, she would have a 10 percent chance of surviving five years. Riko seems to succumb to despair. However, faced with Miho, who is fighting the illness and trying to embrace life, she renews her determination to support her daughter. New romance rumor for Ryoko Hirosue

The latest issue of Josei Seven includes a rumor that actress Ryoko Hirosue (30) has a new boyfriend. This past Sunday, she was seen on the campus of Hokkaido University, apparently on a date with candle artist Candle JUNE.

According to the magazine, Candle JUNE's Tokyo store is near Hirosue's home, so they happened to meet and gradually became closer. Hirosue was also seen at one of the artist's events this past spring.

Hirosue's agency was unable to comment, saying that it does not know the details about her private life. Before this, Hirosue was rumored to be in a serious relationship with actor Masaru Nagai (32), but they seem to have broken up around the start of this year. Neither of their agencies ever confirmed that relationship.

Actress Ryoko Hirosue has just announced on her official website that she is now married. She and her husband, candle artist Candle JUNE, were discovered as a couple less than two months ago.

Candle JUNE exhibits his art at events across the country, but he also runs a shop that happens to be near Hirosue's home. The pair are said to have met this past March at a relief event for the Haiti earthquake victims.

Hirosue married fashion model and designer Takahiro Okazawa in 2003 and gave birth to a son a few months later. The two divorced in 2008, with the child remaining under Hirosue's care. In February 2009, Hirosue was rumored to be in a relationship with actor Masaru Nagai, though they appear to have broken up around the start of this year.

More details about Hirosue's new marriage are expected soon.
