Ryoko Hirosue announces pregnancy

Ryoko Hirosue's agency announced on Monday that the actress is pregnant. According to the company's statement, Hirosue had not been feeling well, so she visited a hospital at the start of this month, where it was confirmed that she is in her 16th week of pregnancy.

Hirosue unexpectedly got married to candle artist Candle JUNE in early October, after dating for only seven months. It was widely suspected at the time that she might be pregnant, though nothing was officially announced until now. Hirosue already has a son from her previous marriage to designer Takahiro Okazawa, which ended in 2008.

Hirosue reportedly plans to continue working after the new child is born.

After seeing your post I decided to check out Wasabi on my own Netflix account. It's actually pretty good. Ryoko is awesome in that movie. She speaks perfect French. It's never easy acting in a language you don't know, and she did a pretty darn good job. It's also the first French movie I've watched.

I really want to meet her when i visit japan this summer . Any hope with that ?

^atm she's pregnant with her second child, so she really doesn't have time for acting atm. Her first pregnancy really slowed her career down. I hope she'll be able to revive her career again after this pregnancy.

How about some pics like this one from the French movie Wasabi. It's a little corny but it's fun, and Ryoko was great in that movie. She spoke perfect French and was still able to act.
